I wouldn't bet on changing since it requires lot of effort and if they changed it. Highly possibility is that patches after 2.0 will be a filler like 1.0 when they changed things so it's better if that not happens. However, yes I agree and am glad they shut out many leakers but still there are some still a big WIN for them. Tho I did see many leaks unfortunately just got them slapped on my face. I dont mind having more female characters than male characters….. but I do would appreciate if there was not such a big gap. Like 8 new female characters (2 of them where 4 stars) vrs 2 male characters 😅 like how about 6 new female characters and 4 new male characters? Something like that would be nice.

There was talk of more than usual males coming let’s hope that’s true All I can say is that if you want more male characters to please support their banners if you can Hopefully with console release and 2.0 looking more vibrant (though I am sure there is darkness behind that facade) we’ll get a large influx of players that will spend on males more, though hopefully it doesn’t turn the game too casual I myself like both females and males but I would appreciate a better ratio of 2:1 I think the ratio wasn’t too bad on release, but it has just gotten worse with only two new males and too many females

There is one thing I have to disagree with. Rover only has one character that has romantical interactoins with him/her. That's The Shorekeeper, the other character are VERY distinctly not romantically interested in Rover. The closest one who could be seen as romantically inclined in YapYap. A lot of people point to Changli, Yinlin, and Camellya as someone showing romantical interest but that's simply untrue. Changli is very clearly inspired by Daji with more pheonix motifs, she plays games, and has a sultry voice. She's not romanitcally inclined with Rover, but her voice lines and words make her appear to be that she looks up to Rover and views him as a mentor, and guiding hand. Yinlin is honestly just happy someone notices her trueself and accepts that, and I can't think of anything she says as being romantical, perhaps teasing, but not romantical. Camellya is, imo, the easiest character to see as not romantically inclined. She makes it very clear through every encounter she doesn't care about Rover, but only the concept of Rover (That being, someone strong she can fight.) She's delusional, and eccentric. With that said, do I mind if in the future they make it point to have interacts less teasing, or something along those lines? No, as long as the characters are interesting to look at, and have an interesting personality (and do something positive for the story) I don't really mind. Rover has The Shorekeeper, you can just put all the romance into her scenes if it's necessary to have, hell give her a side quest where we the player get to give The Shorekeeper a proper name like we did with the cats in Save The World Save The Cats questline. 100% agree that more male characters need to be added, I'd love for a six foot five 300lbs man built like a brick shit house who just goes around punching mfs like Brick from Borderlands to be a character in the game. Hell, add in a bulky male character who wears a lot of armor and provides shields and healing to the team, most people won't complain about a prince-charming character who prides himself on chivalry (Gotta make sure delsuional mfs who can't seperate reality from fiction don't feel threatened by him and their pixle waifu.) to be someone who does poorly. Would these characters sell well? Probably not, would they sell well enough to break even or make a small profit? I think so.

Agreed with almost everyone but Camellya & Shorekeeper. I mean pay attention to the body language of the scenes.... Shorekeeper used the word love but there's different kinds of love. Camellyas whole demeanor and couple innuendos points to her having romantic feelings(albeit a lil obsessive but that's the character trope)they definitely showed her as having feelings for mc. Shore keeper seemed more of a familial love. At least that was the message I had got while paying close attention to both stories.

I mean it’s very obvious that only Shorekeeper is a romantic interest and this is just merely one sided of course since nothing is ever seen from the MC The other stuff is just Kuro throwing some fan service though only with Camellya have they gone far with the innuendo and the very looking date to the ending of Camellya’s story I don’t mind fan service but I hope they keep it as very rare when it’s too much it just gets dull and expected

She learned everything from mc(he practically is a father figure)kinda weird if it'd be romantic love over a family type love don't ya think?

Bruh, even if their kit is bad, which hasn't happened yet in wuwa, there is a need for more male characters; 25% is too little, dude, it is not a good take to just go the route of saying "but the male characters that are here are good tho" that's not the point. This game never advertised itself as a Nikke with the overwhelming majority of players being straight males in mind, so it is justified to say the balance between the amount of male and female characters is an issue.

Overall I want more variety from these game they are all allergic to releasing more buffed or older characters That’s one thing where paid games shine there is more variety Lots of RPGs have a variety of characters from old man like in Dragonquest IX etc Yuanwu is a middle ground though I’d like them to be more gruff/older and with a better kit

I’d more male characters! Most of the time, they end up as my favourite characters and they also make the game more interesting. Though more importantly, they need to add more character interactions. Not to say that I dislike Rover being the main character in every story, but it feels like the characters are there for plot convenience. Currently, I really like Xiangli Yao, despite him being an event character, he has a lot of characterisation and it feels like he has a life outside of ‘help me Rover!’

I am a touch disappointed that the cast is heading primarily female, but give us scar or geshu lin and all will be right again. What I am concerned about however, is when are they going to expand the 4 stars? We have 13 limited 5*s with 6 more on the way but only 10 4*s with 1 on the way. I don't want 4 star category to be oversaturated BUT Kuro did do a great job making fun 4 stars and id like to see what else they come up with next.

Xiangli Yao and to a point Jiyan have been the only two semi romantic encounters when it comes to the story but prety much almost all of female cast is blatant "Please fuck me" scenario. Male characters sell well cuz of character development, you can’t assume it’s because of power level. All male characters in Wuwa have similarities that are their development through the story. Wuwa can make good male characters but they take more investment than they would with female characters. I bet most women wouldn’t even care of a loser of a character like Argenti. That’s my issue with bringing more male characters that people won’t care about.

The problem isn’t the lack of male characters but the lack of appealing male characters. Most are just not as appealing, interesting or varied compared to female character designs. Wuwa’s free lighting dps (can’t remember or spell his name) is good male character in terms of his kit but aesthetically he’s rather underwhelming in my opinion, aside from the robot arm. His animations are also a bit basic, just look at how walks/runs (it has npc energy). Aventurine from star rail is the perfect example of what I’m talking about.
