There is a tale of British "Tommy" humour relating to Karl's belt buckle. A group of Germans had a sign above their trench bearing the legend "Gott Mit Uns". Not to be outdone a group of wags in the British trench erected a sign saying "Got Mittens Too" with a pair of thick woolly mittens dangling from it.

Absolutely! Most gun channels are sponsored to the hilt, blowing up household objects, and telling you to buy 15 accessories in order to face THE BOOGEYMAN who will be attacking you at any moment (and is probably black) It's nice to watch something that's about mechanics, history, and practical shooting....rather than all of this: "Beware the Jabberwok my son, and buy my sponsor's fking gun"

This is why I'm subscribed to this channel. Regarding Ian's assistant gunner deficiency... do you think it would be possible to design a match for crew-served weapons? Like a match for a gunner and loader together, where the loader carries all the ammo and reloads (and I guess you could even do this with regular rifles to some extent). Maybe the loader could also do the pistol shooting and would have to solve some kind of puzzle to expose some targets for the gunner? I do imagine having two people on the field together would probably raise some extra safety issues.

Heavy wool, those made of "sarkakangas", only after it is so cold that the snow is no longer wet, id est below -5°C)
