It’s not just casualties tho it’s so much. Land taken, ships sunk, lend leases, aircraft shot down and so much more. If you don’t get a lot of war score it’s your fault. You didn’t do a good job macro. You probably only focused on army and accepted lend lease.

On my first playthrough, I speedruned getting into the Axis becoming the second Axis member in like 1937 (then Italy, Hungary, my puppet Polish Lithuania, legionnare Bulgaria and Fascist Romania), making a puppet Lithuania but forgetting to annex it completely, somehow Japan creating its own faction, gettin to a World War with the Allies in about 1938 over czechoslovakia, getting the USA involved, fighting with the damn Baltic Alliance or something (Finland Sweden Denmark and Lithuania), fighting the Comintern on the soviet front in 1940 (they attacked me) and losing the African Front alongside Italy completely. Truly a HOI4 experience.
