The barrack was impressive. Looks like it had a clay tile roof. I have always wondered how they were able to use so much concrete. How did they supply the ingredients for the concrete, mix them, and finally use them in such remote locations.

Notice when sufficient wall thickness is available, the shutters will have stepped holes they're mounted in. The idea is a near hit won't be channeled into the shutter opening by the rim. I notice a lot of damaged brickwork. Do you think it was damaged deliberately, or just falling apart due to age?
@WW2HistoryHunter4 жыл бұрын
The brick could have come down as a result of a hit outside perhaps , who knows. Thanks for wathing.

What a fantastic little adventure. Imagine looking at a reconnaissance photo and wondering what that square hole is. Then go to the location finding the hole plus much more. As with some of the other locations it only leads to questions. Why is it there? You should have looked behind the bricks. May have found some more wine bottles or a complete plate. Nice to see a barrack still standing. Am sure the area has more to give up.

Great video! But for everyone blown away by tunnels.. you know miners have done this for centuries, right? It's even done the same way as a mine with stacked rock walls (gobbing) and for sure they would have used ore carts a tram and rails to move rock. Only it was all waste, where with mining you have to seperate the ore from the waste rock. Keep the kick-ass videos coming!
