I had finished my booking in Ep5, the "over time" was pressing to confirm as we passed the controller over. There's established precedent for that in past seasons, it's not the same thing as what I did in this episode or what Luke did in an earlier episode, which is still booking a show once the timer has gone off. Two different things.

Power card idea for the boys: during the trades, you get to pay half for any superstar on their roster. So if Dan has Randy orton at $270k, Pete can play the power card on the booking podcast, and pay $135k for Randy. And the punished party (Dan) must accept. 🤷‍♂️

One change I really want to see for the series, is for all of the participants to be able to see what everyone is doing during the emails and stuff section. It is just funnier if we can see how Pete and Dan reacts if Luke lets someone go, for example. I think the timer can be reduced to 5 mins and just focus on the booking portion of the card. Just a thought.

While I get the need for the custom characters so their names and images are there in the game, I do wish they'd do a version with the GM's in the game. Having 3-4 unique leader powers makes for some really chaotic and fun scenarios. Like imagine using Woods' power to permasteal a wrestler from another brand, or Heyman's ability to knock out 3 random champions (even on a PPV week). Its a wild time.

Dan DRASTICALLY underestimated the power of his shake up card. It's $40k every time a giant wins a Fatal 4-way. Fix match cards (they cost $15k for a net profit of $25k). GM Interference. Hire a legend and book them against three jobbers. Book multiple giants in the same Fatal 4-way. Do whatever you have to to make it work. He had a possible $400k off that shakedown card, and he wasted a week not even attempting it. He thought Luke's $10k/week for Drew Gulak for five weeks was great. His was so much better.

Actually, scratch that. I said a possible $400k based on one men's match and one women's match, but it could be as many matches as you can book. It's only limited by your roster size and your number of giants. Theoretically you could make $160k off a single show from that single shake-up card.

as much as i'm enjoying this season, i think i prefer the two man competition more. The cuts to single analysis being given by each lad even from mid thought, the little jokes that carry through the whole season all seem to be missing. I know that if those things were to be kept in with 3 people to contend with the videos would be well over an hour and a half long. But i think i would rather it.

Money's a lot different in this game though than previous years. You generally spend a lot less on your shows themselves (from what I've seen) and booking Logistics isn't really a thing anymore that eats up even more cash every week. You just buy your new upgrades and they're permanent and don't cost anything extra afterwards. There's definitely stuff that CAN eat up a lot of money, but it's a lot less of a money swing game this time around from what I've played of it.

I don't know why I got so addicted to My GM. Usually I prefer to do my own stuff in Universe Mode, with created Chars with unique Gimmicks and background Stories, With real Wrestler who has Potenzial, but sadly get wasted in Real Life. With so many five star bangers, that Dave Meltzer would collaps, because of exhaustion. Incredible,entertaining and burning feuds, no one ever could even think of. O.M.G Moment which smash people throught the chair, they are stilling one.

As a person who has recently rediscovered MyGM mode in 2k23, I'm wondering what the verdict is on the new version. Is it enough better to warrant purchasing this year's edition? I'm generally of the opinion that it's better to wait a couple years between purchases, so that the little changes between versions can pile up enough to seem significant. But I know that at least a couple of my frustrations with 23 are fixed in 24, so... Worth? Not worth? If it helps the calculus, I don't really play the other modes much at all, so it generally seems like a lot of money to drop on this one particular game mode.

Luke, I hope this comment finds its way to you, but I can explain the Hell in a Cell disappointment. On the PPV episode, you had fewer Superstar Level bonus stars. Which is the new star power bonus.. It essentially means because you have lower leveled wrestlers, you don't get as high a bonus as the others. This is why you should consider using the power card to level someone up to level 20 as soon as possible. You basically matched Pete in terms of 'Match Quality' and 'Show Rating' but Pete has superstars with a higher level, bringing his total to 109. Your show was better than Dan's, but he was also able to save himself a little bit with the Superstar Level Bonus. Therefore you and Dan both got 107. This makes sense because Don't forget, you and Dan would have got a similar fan return if he hadn't stolen 14,000 of Pete's fans. I hope this explains it! I believe in you, Luke!
