Rollins is important because A) Roman absolutely butchered the title's meaning a couple weeks ago, when he called it a 2nd place title. Rollins absolutely needs to be somewhat involved because it just doesn't make sense for him, to just ignore what Roman said about him and what he worked so hard to do for the WHC. B) Rollins and Reigns have unfinished business. They never settled the score back at RR 2022, due to it ending in a DQ.

Well to be fair ufc fighters get into altercations ahead of a fight and still have shot trailers together to build up for a fight and being that both Ufc and WWE are owned by the same company, the trailer makes sense

UFC fighters don’t shoot trailers together. Most fighters (one of them being Strickland) would never do something like that and staff would never ask something like that. Fights that have legit beef and are basically grudge matches? How tf you gonna tell someone to walk toward them with a straight face while dramatic music plays and NOT expect something violent to happen, especially when these trailers get shot during fight camp and a fighter that’s cutting weight isn’t something you wanna mess with. Super irritable, super hungry and easily annoyed. Again, especially with people like Sean Strickland. Those trailers are shot individually, meaning they film one persons scene, film the other persons scene and then editing meshes it all together so that it blends together and looks like they were in the same room at the same time (and somehow magically put away their differences). Don’t forget, McGregor and Khabib had their own commercial. You really think anyone would be able to shoot something with both of them in the same space simultaneously? *Laughs in broken bus window*

I've seen the words "Cinema" "Renaissance" and "Pandemic" tossed around in trying to describe the era we are in and been through, but I will make a stand that this era we are in right now all started at WM 36 when the pandemic happened. Ever since then, a feeling of a reboot happened for the first time. The disasterous "New" era was so horribly toxic and this pandemic ironically helped WWE and the fans of wrestling take a step back and prioritize the ills of wrestling and what needed to be done to improve things. WWE was forced to actually improve their storytelling and matches to help sell the company instead of fans alone, WrestleMania being a 2-night spectacle instead of 1, putting more trust in performers to have unscripted moments and more meaningful matches, etc, to even the small things some wouldn't notice like improving WWE's production levels and marketing strategies. And some WWE as a business was forced to change, *cough* removing Vince McMahon *cough*. One way or another, WWE has definitely improved itself after 2019.

The “Cinema Era” could’ve been a perfect fit since WM 39, but only if Paul Levesque’s power hungry and thirsty father in-law didn’t insert his power and just messed things up again until the TKO officials came and decided Levesque is now in charge of creative and is the leader as the CCO and head of creative. These trailers are common in UFC fight trailers, mostly the PPVs.

IMHO, the “acknowledge me” era began in late 2020 during the Thunderdome days after Roman Reigns returned from his hiatus. The renaissance era happened when TKO decided Paul Levesque will be running things creative related and other aspects, not Vince McMahon, that is the second renaissance era; it started in late 2022, then Vince came back for some time as the executive chairman of TKO, now he’s out of the picture. So it’s a whole new era now.

Here's my pitch: Bloodline keeps causing chaos on smackdown. They insist on Rock v Roman in wm40 main event. As a form of ceasefire, authority makes a deal for a match at elimination chamber, maybe Rock v Cody or Solo v Cody - if they win, then the Rock joins the wm main event, triple threat with Roman v Rock v Cody. If they lose, Rock never wrestles again (if they wanna go attitude era crazy then the Rock's board seat is also on the line!). Bloodline wins due to interference as always, and the triple threat is on. Cody's odds are now stacked against him cause Roman and Rock are surely gonna pick on him. Leading up to wm40, Seth keeps calling out bloodline and especially the Rock. He stands with Cody cause he can't stand the injustice. Jimmy v Jey is building up too - they will fight in wm40 night 1 or 2. Wrestlemania 40 main event night 1 is Drew v Seth for whc. Drew wins when bloodline interferes as revenge for Seth's yapping. Drew gets to be champ without Seth looking weak. Wrestlemania 40 main event night 2. The match we've all been waiting for. Roman and Rock gang up on Cody as expected, and Cody is down. But neither can get the pin as both of course want to win. They keep interrupting the other's pin attempts and they start threatening to throw hands. This allows Cody to recover and fight back which makes them gang up on him again. Against all odds, Cody starts to get an upper hand, but the rest of bloodline interferes again... As always.. Roman, Rock, Solo, Jimmy all now torturing Cody. Suddenly, seth and jey come in with chairs! Think Austin coming in for Mankind v Rock on Raw, or Austin for Rock v H at Backlash. They crash through the bloodline, chaos ensues! The fight spills outside the ring, but Cody and Roman remain inside... Roman slowly recovers from chair shot, Cody hits the cross rhodes, 1 2 3! Cody finishes the story. Bloodline still look strong with seeds of conflict sown. And now we have bloodline v Cody, seth, Jey and maybe others going into summerslam, possibly even into survivor series. Roman and Rock rift grows over time, little by little, until eventually one turns face at royal rumble and we get wm41 Roman v Rock... Finally!

I think this had been set up all along and I believe Punk had a lot to do with this and it was originally set up for Punk to be in the Rollings role. It’s all very real and blurring the lines which we know Punk is the master of… Obviously after his injury they’ve had to do an audible and insert the next best person which is Rollins. And speaking of Punks injury, he was heard telling Cody to “Finish the story” at the end of the Royal Rumble when he realized he was injured. And a reignited feud between Punk and “Dwaine” would have been box office… It just makes sense and if so it’s a damn shame Punk couldn’t have been involved in all this as it’s absolutely brilliant!

Looks like there's a way to "save" the main event: it can still be Cody vs Roman, but there could be the argument that The Rock is pulling Roman's strings like a puppetmaster...and say that Cody does indeed beat Roman, it could be argued that Cody didn't like that Roman wasn't his actual best because of The Rock's influence but instead of giving Roman a rematch, he decides to face The Rock(also because Cody might like to get him back for that slap)...and then win that match too. Where does that leave the story at the end of it all? Cody would be the head of the table while Roman and Rock are basically squabbling for the scraps.
