Amazing right? It seems like women need to be protected on one hand but celebrated on the other. Chyna was ok as a wrestler but not great by any means. I would rather have Chyna than Sable for sure. She had a good look and got a crowd reaction, so it worked but having her compete with men that were bigger, faster and more experienced than her always seemed off. It's like having the Big Show selling too much for a smaller opponent or when Kidman had matches with Hogan. It was odd to have these 2 storylines going on at the same time. I think that Jeff got paid handsomely on his way out as well.

@@BOABModels Every employee of WWE knows, it's a hazardous work environment just like when camera men sometimes get run over in a rugby or American football match. I'm sure race-car pit-crews have to sign some kind of waver knowing how dangerous their workplace is.

Im so glad we finally got to Unforgiven 1999! A bit of context- I grew up in a fairly poor family and the only wwf I ever got to watch Sunday Night Heat on Channel 4. I saved up my pocket money for weeks and all I wanted was a WWF VHS tape. The main event sold me on picking Unforgiven 1999. I must have watched it about 100 times.

Steve knew of this show back in his wwf run. Thus why so many quick matches. He just wanted to finish to watch a new video. How you may ask? Shamrock was one of my favorites during this time. Dude was WWE’s biggest missed opportunity and a misused talent. Mic skills needed work but his in ring ability was awesome

I love how much Davey Boy gets prepped on Reliving the War, he was always one of my favs as a kid alongside Hogan, Taker & Hart.

Here we go! My first WWE PPV as a dedicated fan! (I had casually watched some late 80s/early 90s stuff with my dad when I was young, but this marked me getting back into it on my own after sitting out the New Generation)

@@Markosbourne24 Oh, I was a fan, but i don't live in the past. They, of course, have been WWE for over 20 years now and retroactively refer to themselves as such.

From the look of things, starting from this event on, all PPV names (except the ones for events from Britain) get reused year after year into the RA era, and some of them even beyond that. From events just called "In Your House", to "IYH: ", to ": In Your House", to simply "" and finally now to this. As someone who grew up in the (later) RA era years, this represents another step into the WWF/E I grew up with. I've already seen a couple of guys calling this or that event the start of the home stretch to X-seveN, but this one here - Unforgiven '99 - is the start of my very own "PPV name" final mile for this entire series, and into the product that I grew up with. Thank you WB for covering every single bit in the war, right up to this point! It was a blast to watch, and I am looking forward to the final ~18 months of this series.

Loved seeing Bulldog wear the union jack tights for this event. Sadly, I believe it's the last time he did. I wasn't fond of the jeans and combat boots look he used afterwards.
