The single piece frames, like in Tamiya kits, sure make things easier. But meticulously putting one together piece by piece, and getting everything aligned perfectly, gives one some odd sense of achievement, doesn't it? 👍💓

Very true Mike! The real trick is to get it square and on a flat surface to dry. One of the mistakes new modelers make is to try to keep building before the frame fully sets up. Thanks for watching buddy, have a great weekend. Johnny

Hi Johnny, You are moving right along with this kit. I've thought about one myself. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff

Thanks Jeff👍the kit is nicely molded and despite the small wrappage on the frame rails, it assembled without issue. Thanks for watching, have a great weekend. Johnny

A lesson in precise makes perfect.!.Great video and build so far Johnny..I thought this truck might be delicate in places but the details add the extra..This ICM kit looks very good, besides the radiator..The plastic is like Zvezda’s,very soft..Looking forward to the next part of your build..Thanks again and all the best,Paul🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

Hi Paul, it's coming together, just a little patient with the frame, these multi part frames always needs special attention. Thanks for watching, have a great weekend buddy! Johnny

Great build Johnny. A lot of effort seems to have been made by the manufacturer to ensure that as few parts as possible can be assembled incorrectly or backwards. In addition, the fit seems to be really good. Looking forward to next week.

Hi Gerry, yes, this kit has wonderful fit, everything seems to be working as expected. I think the frame is the worst of the build and it goes together with little fuss. Thanks for watching my friend, take care and see you next week! Johnny

Good afternoon Johnny, you have certainly made a great start to this latest build, it appeard to be going togethef rather nicely, hope the rest of the build goes well, I did hear a while ago, that 'sprue goo' does take a while to dry, have a great weekend and happy modelling, best regards from Australia, Les

Hi Les, it is going together very well even with the slight warpage on the side rails. And yes, you are right, sprue goo does take a while to dry, usually 10 to 12 hours has been my experience. I just let it set overnight. Thanks for watching, take care and model on my friend. Johnny

Solid start on it Johnny, nice troubleshooting as always! I love how much and how well you explain everything you do! May i ask which exactly chisel you are using and what's your thoughts on it, i am thinking about investing money on one of those myself! Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!

Hi George, the chisel is an inexpensive one, I got from Amazon, it's the HOPLEX Model Chisel and it does a good job. There are more expensive ones out there, but this one is $16.00 USD. Hope that helps my friend. Take care and model on. Johnny
