Nice finds ! Hard to believe that such relics are still to be found ! Great video , thanks for sharing

Hi Alexander, glad to hear you like what we do. Our advice: go save money to buy your own metal detector and then go relic hunting yourself. You'll definitely find nice things, because in Germany a lot of stuff is lost or buried in the war years. Good hunt!

I was not making fun of a man dying, but I was happy by the fact that an old piece of metal has soo much story to tell us.

It is a commemorative pin of the 1934 "Tag der Arbeit" organized by the Nazi party. It means: "Day of Labour". The hammer and sickel are tools and symbols of industry and hand labour in Nazi Germany.

Fascinating video. I hope that you put history together from what you find based on the exact location of the objects, the depth of burial etc. From that you may be able to work out some of what actually happened at that site. The helmet is particularly sensitive because it captures the moment of death of the soldier who wore it. It must be very creepy to dug that up and to be the first person to touch the helmet since the soldier died. I dont see anyone else here actually commenting on the video

I bet if I tried to do this, my first find would be a live land mine! I kept imagining as you turned over the helmet that a skull would fall out

Yes, I have seen many of those videos... My whole family has served in the U.S. military since this country was founded and before that dating back to 200ad in Scotland we have always been the first to fight when attacked or threatened, and My younger brother is an active duty Infantry marine today... the things they are ordered to do by corrupt politicians and higher ups at times are horrible, and I am sympathetic to the civilians of the country's we are currently occupying... (post continued)

There is the long and more accurate reply I was talking about. Interestingly, I was just thinking the same thing only a couple hours ago. You should watch some of the videos where "former" service men talked about what they did in Iraq, it is sickening (very similar to the Nazi's treatment of civilians in WWII).

Back then most people in Germany didn't like all the endless wars (like today) but they said, well "lets just support our troops, and deal with Hitler later" the Nazis were national Socialists, meaning, they were Nationalist (they love their country no matter what it does to others) and they were Socialist (the reality of socialism is... no matter how hard one individual worked to get more money, others were entitled to his hard work so everyone will be "equal")

but I am also sympathetic to my family and our military service. This is a very confusing time for my family and for the United States. I have been delaying my enlistment longer than my younger brother did, to test the waters, so to speak... because I believe very soon there will be an uprising, a cleansing if you will of the evil with in our own government, and the patriots and my family will be at the forefront. Some very bad things are coming. (post continued again)
