The disk for the lewis is not English made. It's a disk for the M20, that's a dutch machine gun produced in licentie but altered for dutch ammo. You see the difference directly at the outside because it's not just stamped and reinforced inside. It was good enough to give it as beute-waffe to the Romania and Hongarian Army.

Some of Germany’s best weapons were designed outside of the country itself. Germany suffered terribly from the oppressed years of criminality the British and French. On the pain they inflicted upon the people. At the head of that was traitor Petain who years later would cause the capitulation of a military unable to be flexible with static communication taking days for a response. As these old bastards never upgraded or gave the French a fighting chance. The few units that routed the Germans over and over again were betrayed by awful poor d leadership until De Gaulle took charge. Make the most of British and American tactics and weapons to make them a fighting force when the invasions was to come. They then showed Germany how dammed good they were given the right officers in the right places. Who were at the front with them and not snacked up in a chateaux somewhere. Now Churchill is not to be missed either as a fucking war monger. He wanted Germany crushed to a pulp and all the top Nazis eradicated on sight. Only for Stalin to intervention want those out on public trial to show them the harm they did with the death camps etc! This is what I believe as a personal opinion he didn’t want in any way as this. Would cause dissension within Colonial occupied lands that’s British people had no fight to be involved in. This was the case in India. Which now we know as India and Pakistan. These so called allies knew Germany was well advanced in the Nuclear Bomb! Yes that got you by surprise? It’s showing today that Germany had indeed got a nuclear bomb! As it’s mentioned in files in France and in Russia, directly into Stalins hands to see with his own eyes. Hence the importance of the scientists and any work papers they had. Germany had created the bomb with nuclear facilities it had built. To the. Very test bomb fired that Russian POWS that is another story folks. people caused the terrible harm onto it’s people, not the military who weee already Tim breech of the stupid I’ll thought punishment. Thinking the largest population in Europe at the time we’re going to take scraps from the table of the British and French military who imposed harm to civilians thinking it would blunt the military? The Germans suffered horrendous I’ll treatment and down right bullying by the elitist snobs of Britain!

I think we have had enough death and destruction in the past to keep dedicated men like this busy forever going forward. Let's not start another round of such.

what do you do with all this ammunition after magnificent finds and the deceased will be able to be buried as it should be
@gabrielsrad23333 жыл бұрын
As to the small arms ammo I'm not sure, but usually when grenades and other types of highly explosive/ dangerous ordinance is found they usually hand them over to the local authorities for safe detonation or disarming of such ammo
@jackbarnes97283 жыл бұрын
Probably throw the bullets back into the hole. They have no collectible value in that shape. Explosives are probably handed over as previously stated.

It seems such a open area for a battle to be fought unless there are a trench system here? The soil seems so dark with oil and decayed. People making it so? Your dedication in trying to find the dead is a dedication of likeminded individuals. That never ceases to amaze me.👏🏻👍🏻🙏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The paper being in good condition is a real surprise after 75 years plus in the ground? With ammo canisters nearly perfect in the ground. Shows the quality of metal used and belts of ammunition still usable if cleaned with delay in primer catching from the shot.

@ddmddmd2 жыл бұрын

I’m guessing, a couple of truck loads (20-25 yards) of that soil would drastically improve the soil in my garden as it appears to be killer soil! 😎 Now, how does a feller get such soil to America fully loaded with everything but, the Russian and German soldiers remains? Soil must contain everything awesome soldiers carried into battle no half tracks, tanks, aero planes,artillery, or Stalin organs or screaming memies (I don’t want to sound greedy) from the Second World War with very little rust and no trash! Lol Great video!
