Believe it or not, in a power down situation, especially when you know it’s coming, the 548 is still going to be my go to. The feature where the light automatically turns on when it loses power in automatic mode is VERY nice. No fumbling for a flashlight, just instant light so you can do what you need to do with lanterns, generators etc. So it isn’t better in EVERY conceivable way. Still, it’s a nice power upgrade and I expect to use mine quite a bit.

Set your exposure to manual. Not the cameras fault. It's trying to constantly adjust with your hands blowing out the highlights. Great video!

These are great but my biggest complaint is they do not come with a way to charge them. You still have to spend $30-$100+ to use it.

Picked one up. Did anyone notice an odor when it was charging the first time? It actually overheated and stopped charging after it got to 78% until it cooled down.

The only thing I didn’t like is the app connection the app fell short of displaying all the connection information. It’s literally not worth it other than to do an update.

Nice video! So looks like there's really no need to use BT on the C200? It'd be good to be able to connect to it both by WiFi and BT (in case local Wifi is down). I think the way it's designed you'd have to delete the (Wifi-connected) device and add the BT if you want to control by BT. What do you think? Maybe they'll add this in upcoming SW update?

yeah, the bluetooth/wifi isn't really needed except for firmware updates and remote monitoring (to see if something's done charging for example). I hope they add support for turning off an individual port.

548 is a great long term wireless charging device for peripherals like phones readers mag battery’s etc- can last a solid week just doing those things…which is no BS- I look at Anker solid this way- I can’t afford home solar or natural gas backup, so I have Anker solid battery backups of 100-200dc and 534… people will claim I’m Crazy for investing money in this, and to them, I say 2020- I’ll leave it at that- but everyone who thought I was crazy now views me as beyond competent and even wise..even if they don’t admit it- so that’s where I stand- and I’ll leave it at that

So, it appears to support pass-through charging based off you video. However, while performing pass-through charging, if you unplug the charger and then plug it back in. Does the load (item being charged) stay charging or does the USB-C port have to renegotiate the port (IE - UPS function)

Very difficult choice for me : the c200dc is much lighter and slightly smaller but the c300dc has double usb charging speed and 50% more capacity then the c200dc 😢😢
