THANKYOU!! It is SO hard to find kickboxing workouts that are slow enough for me. I feel like I am flailing around with most of them and end up quitting. I like going slow enough where I can atleast come close to getting my form right. Thankyou so much!

I am a gym rat and love to dance, exercise, weight train. My knees began to hurt doing more high impact exercises. I found some good exercises to do for the quads (thighs) and area around surrounding the knees. Strong quads and hamstrings really really help stabilize your knees. Cross training is always good, and particular with weights...finding a good trainer or using the many avail. wt training vids on Utube.

Ramani277, Their is so many variables that can make your knees sore. At first everyone will experience some soreness in different parts of the body. My advice to you is to mix up the routine and do Yoga on Monday, Kickboxing on Tuesday, Pilates on Wednesday, Rest on Thursday and repeat. This plan will allow your body to recover from high impact exercise like kickboxing/bootcamp. So go to netfit.tv and sign up for free trial and do the plan I recommend above. Hope this helps you! I thought it was a great beginner kickboxing video. Maybe a little too much talking and not enough jazzy music. My biggest beef was the commercial breaks in the middle of the workout....we skip them anyway and they are super annoying...I don't want my workout interrupted especially by something like that. I didn't skip the beginning or end commercials to help you out because I DO appreciate your efforts!! :)

No it is not bad to do kickboxing and any other body weight workouts barefooted. You will experience better balance because you can use your toes. Go for it!

My knees have really been hurting after doing this. I'm 20 years old, and not overweight (actually a little bid underweight). I thought i was doing the squats correctly... I haven't been in the best shape lately - is it possible my knees just need to get used to it? Or am I doing it entirely wrong? Or...? I hope someone can help me with this. Until I know what's up with my knees, I won't be doing this workout anymore. And I really want to! :(
