Very interesting video. I had to reimport Daz3D and now I can’t find this plugin in any of my Smart Folder but they are showing that I did purchase them.I’ve tried deleting it and re-downloading but they still don’t show in smart folders. Can you help?

This is another great video can you tell me what would be the best PC Specs for fast rendering and not just the graphics card but the motherboard and other parts in a PC.

Hi there, I can answer your question. Follow these if you are building a PC from scratch: 1. Get an AMD CPU. Ryzen 7000Series. Either a Ryzen 7 or 9. Bcz currently AMD has introduced new motherboard chipset. Which will support next 2 or 3 generations in future. So it's more future proof to go with AMD right now. Plus having an AMD CPU will aid in multitasking bcz it has more cores and productivity wise it's a better choice. 2. Since your CPU is AMD you'll need AMD supported mother board. I would suggest to go with X670E. Any motherboard manufacturer would be good here. I prefer ASROCK X670E Steel Legend since it's cheap and doesn't really cut off on other features. 3. For RAM you can go higher as you want. But minimum would be 16Gb. And IMPORTANT: Ryzen 7000 series support DDR5 Ram not the DDR4 anymore. So keep in mind. Go for Either 2x 8GB sticks or 2x 16GB Ram Sticks with higher GHZ/MHZ. 4. Go for SSD bcz DAZStudio has very bad loading speeds. NVME or SSD both are good. But technological advancement wise-NVME is a good choice. Go for 1Tb or 2Tb bcz Dazstudio in future can take up a pretty hefty space. 5. You should only go with NVIDIA GPUs since DAZ Iray only supports these cards. Buy something which has more cuda cores and has more VRAM. For eg: Minimum would be an RTX3080Ti and Maximum as of today would be an RTX4090. 6. You'll need good gold or platinum rated powersupplies. Go with 1000W or 1200W for future proofing. 7. Cabinet case which can fit the GPU dimensions. 8. Finally a liquid cooler for your CPU depending upon the size and ventilation ducks in your Cabinet case. I think I covered everything. FYI, My current configurations are: Ryzen 7 2700 Asrock B450 Steel Lengend 750W gold rated PSU Rtx 3060Ti 32gb Ram After so much research, I'm planning to build a new PC with the following specs: Ryzen 9 5900x AsRock x670e Steel Legend 1200W Platinum/Gold ATX3.0 PSU RTX 4090 or RTX 3090 2x 16GB RAM (6000Mhz) DDR5 240mm Liquid AIO cooler Uff! Took some time to type all these. Hope this helps.

Thank you, Sunil for your time on this valuable information on PC specs to use with Daz studio much-appreciated looks like I will have to build one to get the correct specs.😁👍

Hi, I just updated to the latest Daz3D 4.22 Pro but since I did it I've never been able to preview or render using Iray, previously I never had issues but now I'm unable to render or preview a character or scene if it is a bit complicated, for example works with a character but once I apply hair then Iray just doesn't work and the bar is loading forever, I've reinstall many time, do you have idea of what could it be?

Actually I've met the problem before, I've heared that it's a bug about rendering .tif texture file. So I just drop back to 4.21, which eliminate the problem.

Even though I have several decent GPU's now I still use Scene Optimizer, it's one of those must have products for me

I also have it, will try using it to optimize my scenes.

So this doesn't help with rendering? Only preview?
@Daz_3D6 ай бұрын
It definitely helps with rendering too, the preview is essentially a regular Iray render so the same principles for textures apply (they need to fit into your VRAM).

@@Daz_3D they should give us a VRAM dump option after each rendering.
