Hi Goitse. It was nice to meet you by chance at Central. Just to note - we were testing the Maggs ;-) I finally uploaded our flight. Have a look and let me know what you think. Looking at the forward camera, we made the right call not do a touch and go. We would have been out of daylight.

Awesome! Ek het elke oomblik geniet! Jy is geen "Rookie" nie! Die Caravans by Maun is awesome! Juis waarom ek ook van die C208 hou om die "Bush Pilot" te vlieg! Hou maar die Canon DSLR se lens doppie in die sak! As fotograaf sal dit nooit in 'n vliegtuig opgesit word nie. Baie distractions as hy afval. Sjoe! die deur... of miskien kan ons dit "early aircon application" noem! Baie spannend en opwindende video! Wel gedaan!

Hi Brandon. I use EasyPlan on my desktop for flight planning and then EasyCockpit on my iPad. I export the planning from the Desktop to the iPad and then just activate it. It works like a charm and has most the airfields on their data base.

Wynand Britz thanks for the info. I also did my PPL Training at LFC and completed it in July last year. I'm currently doing hour building and i see you have done quite a few cross border flights, I would like to get in touch to maybe gather some tips from your experiences as I'm yet to venture on a really far x country flight!
