This story was repeated today, April 23, 2017, on PBS. While the Grove family seem like intelligent people, and they are concerned with the environment, they have one huge flaw. They continue to "drink the koolaid": they follow along blindly. All the good they do and all they are concerned with does not mitigate their extensive cruelty to animals. They imprison animals for the soul purpose of profiting from their slaughter. Most likely they are among those animal-killing profiters who claim to "love their animals." “In fact, if one person is unkind to an animal it is considered to be cruelty, but where a lot of people are unkind to animals, especially in the name of commerce, the cruelty is condoned and, once large sums of money are at stake, will be defended to the last by otherwise intelligent people.”--Ruth Harrison, Animal Machines
