Accuracy Issues with TenPoint Reverse Limb Bows

Here is a way you can fix some of your accuracy issues with TenPoint reverse limb crossbows. This includes such bows as the Siege, Havoc, Flatline or Nitro. You don't need a bow press to fix this issue.

Should the rail/riser bolts be tightened without string tension? Being under full tension kept the limbs in a particular position that was changed as soon as tension was relieved.

you can do it while under tension...I just did it in the press to show you the amount of motion those loose bolts can cause

Great tip, and seems a good reason to stay with their standard configuration bows, and maybe under the 400 FPS level with their Titan M-1 or second label Wicked Ridge M-370.

Just bought the Flatline 460. Have not installed the Burris scope that came with it yet. Would it be wise for me to pull those two bolts and use blue loctite on them and tighten them down? if so will i need this in a bow press if I remove those bolts?

Just give them a snug. Don’t need to remove or a press

What would cause my havoc rs440 to keep shooting to the right Ten point replaced the scope twice and the two bolts are tight I just checked them I can sight this thing in at 20yrds and I won’t get 15 shots out of it before it starts shooting to the right again so I’ll adjust the scope back to the left about 23 clicks and shoot dead on then without saying it BOOM It’s shooting to the right again

Your scope rail is probably not straight down the rail. If it’s offset enough you will crank the scope far enough that it won’t hold the adjustment. Look down the rail and line the rail against the scope rail and see if it’s offset. If it is you can pop off the stock loosen the bolts to the scope rail readjust it and re tighten it

Tighten with tension on the limbs? Can alignment be checked after it is secured? Also should these be tightened to a specific torque?

Yes you can tighten them with tension I did it in the press to show they were loose. They are conical they self align. Good and tight. Not sure what the physical torque is

Bolts loosen on every crossbow. Worth checking them now and then

TenPoint does not make a press. The last chance with the narrow adapter works great
