Jab is at best 5 frames, the projectile puts you at minus 11.

@@deddjayApparently when you crouch block the fire knife hits on a later active frame so it’s more plus. So on standing it’s probably like +7 and another fire dagger is 13frames to come out. So you have 6 frames to get out. The issue though is if you stand block she can always just 2k to get another knockdown.

There is a lot of people asking and complaining about Roasting Chestnuts loops. If Dizzy does Roasting Chestnuts>Roasting Chestnuts you can 6P it or if your character has one you can use an early low profile. You can ALWAYS mash 6P. If you stand block the projectile part you can then 2P cuz Dizzy is less + since the projectile hit early. If she is point blank (or simply in range) you can always grab her however a good Dizzy will space out the grab. Ok what if she's doing c.S>Roasting Chestnuts or 2K>Roasting Chestnuts? You can actually FD this, she has a lot of pushblock on these buttons even naturally and FDing one c.S or 2K twice will already push her out of the range of the initial Roasting Chestnuts hit. She will have to run back in, you can obv hit her for this. Jumping over is a safer option. Stand block the dagger for better advantage. If she whiffs the initial 236K hit you can react and hit her even with sth like an S button. Since it's a projectile you will get a CH punish. You can always also just use YRC or Burst but watch out since Dagger hit itself is + she can bait there )in place of 2K for example. This video cherry picked very hard clearly the opponents weren't aware of counterplay most of the time and let the Dizzy player get away with a lot of fake stuff.

Don't FD Roasting Chestnuts itself it has pretty much 0 RISC buildup and it won't push Dizzy out since all hits are projectiles.

Being able to get the 2 meter from full screen is very valuable. Also ice spike as a starter comes with crazy amounts of scaling, way more so than others.

@@griffendesai2039 My take is Dizzy is the weakest dlc added... reversal super hardly does any damage and doesn't hit jumps A lot of zonning options yes but atleast in my games nobody actually respects Fish( in comparison with Anji butter fly or millas disc fish is so inferior) Plus Dizzy loosing her air movement really feels bad when it comes to mix because ends up being this boring loop of strike throw Her infinite isn't real Wings of light set up is scary but so many things can just turn it off like yellow rc, burst and her block string has gaps on it to mash out and lets say wings activate and you far if you dont react in time to deactivate wings you'll end up with no meter 2 meter super is not worth it( well depending on situation yes) But in comparisons with calvados... 2 meters is wild 6p, Dp big weaknesses Worst far Slash in the game(my opinion ofcourse) And the biggest issue for me she has very low health when the top tiers right now are hitting like a truck(GL, Slayer, Ram, Nago) i get my game started and quickly lost 60 percent of my health over literally 1 mistake 🫠

@@xilef_0078 my anecdotal experience has been very different from yours. I also wish she had more air mobility, it’s a real bummer. But the zoning is good, landing a 214H in any capacity feels amazing and can lead to a lot of damage from long range. At the end of the day however, she’s so new at this point that I think it’s hard to tell how good she is. She’s definitely not the worst dlc either, even if she does turn out to be bad in the end, she’s not as bad as launch bedman or sin.

​@@xilef_0078 To be fair to Dizzy's Far Slash, it's an absolute unit of a move when ice field is up due to its long active frames and multi-hit property (and if you know what you're doing, you should have ice field up for half of your knockdowns); standing K and 2d covers the situations where far slash would lose. If it were 10f, then far slash would be a bit too hard imo to contest when k-fish and ice field are up. And the mix that's been found on her, while prolly not as strong as Johnny's or A.B.A.'s, is still pretty good considering it's only been about 6 days since she released (Johnny's TK-mist finer mix being found so early, and being so strong, was an exception and not the norm for DLC characters, aside from Baiken maybe). The only thing that I'm pretty miffed about with Dizzy is losing the double air dash, but I doubt she's as weak as launch Johnny, Bedman, or Sin were, or season 3 Baiken.

its not just that. WoL has no risk. If you put it out, what do you think the opponent is going to do. Be hyper aggressive and panic, thus predictable. The WoL does not need to activate for it to be effective. if it does, then you'll get a chunk of unblockable dmg.

So the infinite DOES look like it has a 1-3 frame gap so you CAN DP or reversal super out of it (2:07) You can deflect shield out of it (2:00) You probably can't grab since Dizzy hangs JUST out of range for it. And as seen in EVERY CLIP you can't FD out of it. White wild assault seems plausible to be. MAYBE faust can low profile 2P out of it. Maybe pot can armor out of it but unlikely. Some fast 3 frame jabs MIGHT be able to get out of it. Alright, as I haven't seen anyone try in this video, you MIGHT be able to backstep the projectile and punish with a fast mash button like 2P or 5P. Never tried it yet tho as I haven't bought the DLC.

It's worse than just potemkin they nerfed zato and asuka the hardest characters in the game... They took away zato's sunvoid to get Eddie meter back while "buffing" oppose when oppose is still garbage meanwhile dizzy gets to be braindead with the easiest setups and combos in the game. Asuka had his mana Regen capabilities nerfed into the ground and various other changes a real asuka could tell u about. Axl lost his rainwater loop combos and various other characters got nerfed but they buffed braindead ez characters like ram and may. The game wants to be as casual as possible the current state of the game feels like a party game

Even as a pot main I wasn’t sure about his changes but he got a lot to make up for it and it overall makes him a more consistent character because now you don’t have to worry about losing a round because you messed up one of the 10+ karas the character needed for his game plan to actually work.
