Do they not fit a KLX 300 2023? Just got them and the bolt assembly that slides into the handle bars doesn’t fit the holes too small.

Handguards are mostly universal. I had the same issue and just used a drill bit 🤷‍♂️. Didn’t need much more room.

how do u loosen the expander inside the grips i cant remove the thing

Loosen the expander completely so it falls off inside the bar. Then tap out with a mallet and flat head screw driver.

What handlebars can except that locking mechanism. I recently purchased similar guards that you guys make for atv. I have a raptor 700 that has solid steel ends. I’m willing to buy a new handlebar set but now I’m seeing even the pro taper handlebars made of aluminum -the hollow hole isn’t big enough to accommodate that metal end with screw. Are there any 7/8 handlebars that i don’t have to spend an hour trying to drill and tap in order to install these ? Thanks for your time

the expanders that these come with fit aluminum bars, so most handlebars nowadays. you may be able to make them fit some thinner walled steel handlebars with some vinyl tubing slipped over the expander.

I have Pro Taper Contour bars and the expanding bolt fits in no problem, just have to tap it in

These do not like fat bars very much. Get some longer M6 bolts for where the shims sit.

Mine aren’t even close. Had to drill bigger holes to make the bolts fit, along with bending the frame to fit a Carmichael bend. They work great though for the price

I bought these for my 2021 XR650L and they did not fit the throttle side. The bends at the attach points were incorrect didn't even come close to matching up to the attachments. I was totally disappointed in the product and took them back off. Acerbis needs better QA in their product.
