this is sweet and true, can feel that second line theres so much fascinating things in life, but its difficult to find ways to live esp when youre a depressive, extremely neurodivergent fucker like me who loves creatures and fiction i kinda just pull through shit and follow things i love, seeking help because i knew i had to. seeking help isnt weak, its a refusal to give up id say im def a lot better than i used to be, like a lot. i still have things i struggle with, but atleast they dont feel like doom.

after listening to this on loop for days... i only just realized the title is crossfaded girl. i thought it was just "x-faded" to be unique or that the x has a specific meaning (such as x marks the spot). but it's just crossfaded... she says crossfaded... it's so subtle but powerful. almost like she doesn't know how to define the title of the song... like she feels about herself.

I have chronic migraines (it got real bad 4 years ago) , go to the hospital frequently because of it and take multiple pain meds every day but it still never really leaves. I often can not get out of bed or outside when it's day. I still often get told to just ignore the pain and get over it or people especially professors not believing me even when showing them my doctor reports. Also the 'yes, I took my meds' is so relatable. When I complain about my pain to get comforted that's all people ask and I hate it. Thank you weevil for this masterpiece 💕

@@Eosinophyllis Yeah, I also got told that my pain will only get worse and that I can't do anything to stop it and honestly I'm so fucking scared. I have studied hard my whole life to become a doctor but everything is falling apart since my migraines got worse and honestly if my attacks cause me to go blind in the future idk if I will stay here. Illnesses are awful especially if you don't have the money to deal with them. Hope shit works out for you tho 💕

I'm the one guilty of asking if my friends have taken their meds. But if the answer is yes, it's at least followed up with some kind of other advice, or the idea of doing something to take the mind off of things. Physical pain? Let's try basil oil, maybe it'll soothe the sore spot. Mental pain? We can talk through it, or just head into town and hang out. Boot up a game. Whatever, as long as it eases the sting.
