Over the course of the last 20+ years of live action Marvel, Charles and Erik have become my favorite duo. I really love that they allowed their bond to have its moment in this show. I think something the movies did very well was highlight the relationship between Charles and Erik. I like that this show didn’t shy away from the intimacy that is present in their relationship. Marvel is constantly elevating itself, learning from, and building upon its past. Forever bringing it full circle and making it all better as a complete interconnected Multiverse. BRAVO 👏 to the X-Men 97’ team!!! Well done.

I love that little moment of hesitation and vulnerability on Charles' face before he reveals himself as a mutant to Magnus, and the expression of suprise but also a hint of other emotions on Magnus' face when he does. It's as if you can see Magnus' joy at not being alone and at the same time his fear that people will come for both him and now his new friend too. And I love that you noticed. Excellent animation!

This was Awesome! I think we’re gonna still get onslaught in season 3. I’m thinking some of that evil gonna have to take root in Xavier for awhile but will see hints of it later on in season 2. I also think we will see a new X-men team in the present to battle gambit and the other horseman. Regarding the past and future timeline that the others are in it’s up in the air but I suspect that apocalypse is dealing with the axis of time again . Not to mention in the original series apocalypse was in the future battling cable where cable had to go back to the present to help apocalypse destroy a past one, but Wolverine blood created the anti bodies that was needed. Also it will be cool to see a real battle between magneto and apocalypse and not that little scuffle we saw on the original series

It's possible what you remember isn't his skeleton being ripped out, but rather, his skin getting blown off. There's a comic where Wolverine bets blown up to the point where he's just standing there as an adamantium skeleton and he regenerates from that completely. So it's possible your brain mixed the two events.

You are remembering something from alternate story, sounds like his death from the Ultimate Universe. During Ultimatum, Magneto overrides Iron Man's armor and Cyclops' visor to unleash full strength blasts from both to incinerate Wolverine. Believing him to be dead, Magneto gets too close to gloat before Wolverine. The nearly fleshless Wolverine jumps up and stabs his claws into Magneto's chest, mortally wounding him. Magneto rips the Adamantium from Wolverine's bones, killing Wolverine, leaving just a severely charred skeleton and an arm of flesh due to his healing factor not working.

Bastion absorbed Cable’s time slip tech that’s in his arm, that’s how he grabbed Rogue and that’s how he’s not dead, he jumped somewhere. Pietro, Wanda and Lorna have all left Eric, a drift in his trauma, very poetic scene. Rogue and Bastion were fighting on the blue section of the moon, it has air and then the asteroid was in low orbit when Jubilee fell out, that’s why she was falling, gravity and atmosphere, air. Scott and Jean are in the Askani’son storyline, they help raise Nathan in the future but don’t reveal who they are because they don’t want to damage the timeline with the help of Askani, Rachel Summers, the daughter of Jean and Scott in the futures past timeline sent through time by the mutant daughter of Bolivar Trask to warn the X-men and she gets split into two versions of herself. One in the future and the other in the present joined with a portion of the power of the Phoenix. As Rachel was traveling through the time stream the Phoenix sensed her and thought she was Jean and left a portion of itself within her. So many stories touched by this show, season two is going to be insane with what is coming. We get Gambit back as a horseman of Apocalypse, we get feral Wolverine because of the adamantium being yanked from his body, we get possibly Excalibur finding Rachel in the present maybe, we get Apocalypse and the Xmen joining forces to stop Kang, maybe we even get Stryfe, the clone of Nathan made out of fear that he couldn’t be saved from the techno virus who went totally evil, insanity 🤪

In the 1993 Marvel Comic X-Men #25 Is the Reference you have to look for! Omni- 1 If Memory serve's Magneto Pulled the Adamantium Metal through Logan's Pour's In a Liquid form. And Later Apocalypse Re-Grafts It Back to Logans Bones....(But I believe in a ''What if'' Comic.? Logan Had the Whole Skeleton Ripped out and Logan Died. Even with his Healing Factor. If his Brain is Destroyed, he Passes away. (Like if the Grafted Metal to His Bone's comes Ripping out together! ( I owned all of Wolverine and Silver surfer along With ''infinity watch'' and '' the 2 parts- Thanos Quest'' and 6 comic run of '' infinity gauntlet'' comic '. "We regret to inform you that the missile strike has failed." No, it did not fail. The one dumbass in the room with the president said it was "a gun pointed at our head." If that's the case, then they basically just said "bet, lemme pull the trigger myself" and the Xmen were left scrambling to try and jam their fingers in before the came in contact with the bullet. Another thing that drove me crazy is the fact that Iron Man and Cap just fucking sat there and did jack shit to try and stop it! Surely one of the smartest people in the world like Tony Stark could've seen this would've been a terrible call! When I saw Cap turn away when the president gave the order, I expected him to intercept that woman and stop her from handing off the orders! I just want to know how NOT ONE OTHER GOD DAMN HERO EVEN TRIED TO HELP THE XMEN STOP THE METEOR! Surely there was one other hero aside from Doctor Strange (who had been in the middle of surgery, so he probably didn't know about any of this), who could've TRIED to help?!?! This series was just a huge mixed bag for me.

My only criticism is I think they burned through a lot of major comic plot points too quickly. However it’s been an incredible watch bc it’s just been one oh fuck moment after the next. I just worry they’re gonna run out of engaging plot points to keep the pace they have now set us up for
