What happens to a Russian, to a Czech, does not interest me in the slightest. What the nations can offer in good blood of our type, we will take, if necessary by kidnapping their children and raising them with us. Whether nations live in prosperity or starve to death interests me only in so far as we need them as slaves for our culture; otherwise, it is of no interest to me. Whether 10,000 Russian females fall down from exhaustion while digging an anti-tank ditch interest me only in so far as the anti-tank ditch for Germany is finished. We shall never be rough and heartless when it is not necessary, that is clear. We Germans, who are the only people in the world who have a decent attitude towards animals, will also assume a decent attitude towards these human animals. But it is a crime against our own blood to worry about them and give them ideals, thus causing our sons and grandsons to have a more difficult time with them. When someone comes to me and says, "I cannot dig the anti-tank ditch with women and children, it is inhuman, for it will kill them", then I would have to say, "you are a murderer of your own blood because if the anti-tank ditch is not dug, German soldiers will die, and they are the sons of German mothers. They are our own blood".

Magneto - has flashbacks of the holocaust and then starts whipping the sentinel with a train. 1. Badass. 2. Clever. Remember trains were what took Holocaust victims 'to the east'. Trains were literally and figuratively the vehicle of the extinction of his people. So by HIM using the train as a whip against this new enemy trying to do the same to what are now his people.... just brilliant. Poetic, symbolic but also...badass. :)

Remember in the 1990s it aired on Fox on Saturday mornings so there were things that were not allowed (see the cartoon drawing Batman TAS had that the Fox censors would not allow) The most they showed of Magneto’s past was him as a child fleeing generic soldiers attacking his home. They got a bit closer into what time period that happened when Captain America teamed up with Wolverine - then a member of the Canadian forces (not the first time US & Canada teamed up in WW2, look up “The Devil’s Brigade”) - to liberate a camp where a young Magneto was held Both X-Men (2000) & X-Men First Class start at Auschwitz and Magneto used to his powers to try to prevent his family from being separated I caught on to the illusions that have happened in X-Men 97 with some of the lines Magneto dropped. Bravo to the writers
@dahoomancentipee94616 ай бұрын
@@mjwatts1983And that's one problem I have with censorship. It's ok to censor drugs, nudity, foul language and sex in a show aimed at a younger audience. But to censor our own history? They don't have to show the horrible things the Nazi's did to the Jews but the very least what they could've done is have Magneto say or even show that he was a Jewish child from Poland in the 40s. Or even just come out and say that he's a Holocaust survivor and leave it at that. They can do that without showing the horrors and atrocities of war and the Holocaust. Middle and high school will show and teach the kids about it when they're older or better yet they'll research and learn about it themselves. I'm just really against this kind of censorship because my parents, FYI I'm a millionial and my parents are boomers, didn't allow me to watch Batman TAS because according to them it was to violent and because of that I was deprived of seeing and learning of great stories that could have actually impacted my life. Despite not exactly being the same kind of thing you would censor a child from, I'm heavily against it and won't have my kids going through the boomer mentality of "think of the children" BS. Lastly, not sure if Magneto WAS from Poland. I'm assuming he was since Germany invaded Poland in WW2 if my memory of history is correct. And also, I don't hate my parents. I love them and have joked around with them about that fact of them not allowing me to watch Batman because of violence 😆

Why the hell is Magneto dropping hero speeches? Why is Rogue managing to stand tall with Gambit's wit? WTFWTF
@John_Ripper5 ай бұрын
magneto has always been an anti hero. Broad term villian, specific term anti hero. His motivation has never been evil but a reflection of his experiences during the holocaust. Without context he might come off as an intolerant guy but he really wants to help all mutants and ensure their safety because he knows they will be hunted just like they hunted him as a kid. However he doesnt often show mercy to threats. Rogue absorbed carol danvers powers (captain marvel) excluding any energy discharge abilities. She has her super strength, flight, and durability. Rogue was initially a villian but was really manipulated to take down captain marvel. Carol ended up in coma for a while

Why didnt magneto magnetize the sentinel
@pearsegallagher98326 ай бұрын
i imagine it emits its own magnetic field with enough potency to stop him from doing so, otherwise there would be no point in sending it to attack in the first place

The Sentinels have gone through many designs to stop Magneto power from affecting them.

There is 0 chance a giant robot doesn’t have electricity and circuitry running through it, he doesn’t need metal to affect it, and he can still blast it directly…

They are built in strong plastic alloy know as Carbon Nanotubes, they are designed to prevent Magneto from using his magnet power, he only controls metal.

@@monarchblue4280 Kid show, remember? Keep in mind, Nimrod is suppose to be God-Tier, but he's still regulated as villain of the week in the comics, same with Ultron. You can blame the endless cycle of writers and activists penning plot holes after plot holes. Either you enjoy the ride or get off. Simple concept, something the modern comic book industry is learning the hard way.
