Brother they retconned morph. They're erasing individuality to appeal to a lie of being with an in group. How is that destroying the idea of minorities as a whole? Morph was never depicted like this before and wasn't given a proper explanation. It wasn't shown in the comics like people said it was, he was loosely based off of two characters and made into one in the TV series. Nowhere was it shown that morph identified as anything else than a man, not from the original writers or anything. So why was morph made into a them? To "represent they/thems?" Nothing about his story being this new development which would be more believable, suddenly he was "born this way" when his mutant powers aka his "identity" don't typically develop until adolescence, so how is this anything but a retconn? THIS is the type of representation yall want? Some cheap one month rainbow filter over an already established character? All anyone can say is, "uhhhh transphobe!!" And never understand why people might ever have a problem with this and have one dimensional opinions. And who does that sound like? The populace in this show that only know mutants as freaks, the same way people don't recognize others as people. Think about that next time you see a comment criticizing morph

The whole point of X-men were about minorities and oppressed people, that includes; people of colour, disabled people, trans people, queer people and more. So its only normal that there is a gay character and not because of the "WoKe DiSnEy" and no Morph didn't confess in jeans form beacuse he was such a good friend that tried to bring his best friend back to life in desperate act. Both in x-men 97s and the 90s animated series the two were always together, Morph has barely any screentime but in %99 there is Wolverine standing next to them. I'd really like if the authors would move on from the shitty Jean-Cyclops-Logan love triangle and gave them some screentime. Reminder that Wolverine has slept with men in the comics before this wouldn't be a new thing.

Because a true friend will always have your back. Morph, in a profound act of friendship, assumed the form of the woman Wolverine loves. He lent his voice to her, uttering the very words that Wolverine longed to hear. This selfless act infused Wolverine with the strength to persevere in his fight. If that ain't true friendship, I don't know what is.
