X-MEN "WHO BEAST's BEST?" From Toybiz to Diamond Select to Hasbro!

Each Beast are very special in their own way, but as for definitive? Hasbro knocked it out of the park. Color is perfect. Proportions are fantastic, he's not lanky or not TOO big or tall. He's very articulated, being flexible and acrobatic. Also design wise? This look of Hank is the most popular and recognizable. I actually do like every other one of his appearances, but the 90s look is my favorite. Each Beast is fantastic in their own right!

P.S. I was too young to be collecting back when ToyBiz was handling Marvel toys. Well, more like couldn't afford my own collection, a year before I finished high school. I remember finding that classic Beast at a comic book and toy store and he was my favorite in my collection. Personally, I never owned alot of ToyBiz figures and whatever I would find was always a huge hit or miss. It's all about what you want in a figure but I feel like ToyBiz is definitely dated when it came to some figures. Like the weird shading (almost always using dark washes of black that made them look dirty overtime). Odd joints, while yeah articulation is cool but look and presentation is something to think about. I feel like it's what you like when it comes to artwork and comic book styles. Alot of artwork in the 90s was super awful or really fantastic. Nowadays it's also a hit or miss. I feel Hasbro is more so wanting to capture both eras. Colors that pop, but the look of the 90s. Anatomy that isn't too exaggerated and serviceable. You know, like female characters having ridiculous boobs and tooth pick waists. Or men having 20-abs. I feel like that's why Hasbro does it good. Because he feels like he can fit in most collections without standing out. And that seems like how all their newest figures are.

I'm very happy to somebody made a video about this! So many beasts now available for the fans, I have the Select for my X collection because my main team is 7 inch scale, they're all pretty good, not to mention the other couple tactical beasts out their. Great video man!

The Toybiz Beast was way a head of it’s time. It’s one of those figures that sold me on collecting ML. Having said that, Hasbro is killing it with all the new ML X-men releases. I wonder why it took them so long to make X-men figures. I’m sure Disney has something to do with it but I can’t back it up.

they are, just the standard clear. They don't work with every figure. The toy biz beast doesn't fit but the new marvel legends beast does. I find that most of the time, the older figures have a larger peg hole on the feet than newer ones

That new hasbro figure just looks weird. Blue is too bright and that head sculpt. Definitely not a definitive beast but if you don't have the toybiz, I can see it be a replacement for it.

Easily, for me, the best Beast is the new Hasbro one. It has a bad gap "down there" and no rotation in the torso but those are the only problems it has. Toybiz has a dark blue and Beast looks better with that Hasbro blue in my opinion. And the head of the Toybiz is not for me. The Marvel Select one is skinny, has limited articulation and it doesn't have too much detail like the Toy Biz one or the Hasbro. The face is boring. Hasbro wins.

FYI You are missing the Hasbro X3 Kelsey Grammer movie Beast (yikes) and the Xmen Classic Beast and alternate cat faced Beast

Only two are even comparable. The new 6" Beast is a different scale to the 7" and 12", It's only a factor if people that only have money to buy 1, then it just comes down to what scale you collect.
