Murf, just love your commentary. It's clear you both know and love football. It's also clear you appreciate when coaches and players do something right, yet appropriately criticize their mistakes (not the player, the play). Thanks for all your hard work. You're a true fan of the sport. I especially love it when you say, "product...placement". Peace, my man!

I hated to see Feleipe go down. I’m a UGA fan, but I wanted to see him in late October, and see how much better he would’ve been by then. I hope he comes back better than ever. You guys seem to be in good hands with your backup, though. Be patient with him, and don’t start calling for Emory Jones while he goes through his growing pains. Good luck the rest of the season. Hopefully both UGA and UF are undefeated in Jacksonville next month.

Well, my 1st time on the channel. I rarely hit the sub button until I find myself checking out more vids on a channel. After 4-5 vids if I'm enjoying the content... I may hit the sub button. I just dont see the point of subbing to a 100 channels. With that said, I slammed that sub button in the middle of the video. #1 we have a common interest we enjoy... chomp chomp baby! #2 Wtf? Why is this guy not coaching somewhere, even if its Friday night lights he's very knowledgeable of the game. #3 I love the break down on the plays and the in depth look into the games. It really gives the fans who dont see all this stuff during the game at regular speed. He slows it down and does some great video editing and produces professional game film. Wait a min... he's the guy in the Gator clubhouse responsible for game film study for the team... right? He cant just be a fan producing these kinds of videos for fun... can he? All I know, I smashed that sub button and hit the like button already too. Now back to the video.

Very colorful comment, but this is certainly not “for fun.” This is a business, bro; I’m a 6-year professional sportswriter at a myriad of spots: Bleacher Report, Saturday Down South, Rivals, Scout in addition to hosting a nationally syndicated radio show...I cover quite a few teams, so I’m not sure what you mean by the common interest portion of the comment. My primary cover is actually Georgia...Thanks for watching, bro!

I think with Gouriage in at left tackle and Trask being able to read defenses better than Franks, we may be able to get to last year’s form. That will depend on run blocking, though.

Decisive, decisive, decisive. That's what Kyle looked like Saturday. Many plays he knew where he was going with the ball as soon as he was done with his dropbacks. Felipe likes to hangout as long af the o line will block for. Injuries suck but I think we're better off with Kyle.

I think both teams benefited from the other's weak secondaries (both young and with injuries/ejections) and having basically unknown QBs without a lot of film for D's to study. As a UK fan, props to Florida for changing the momentum in a game that I honestly thought was all over but the shouting. And hopefully the Cats can copy your example from last year in coming back from a tough home loss in this game to still have a successful season! Oh, and also hopefully Franks will recover well. Maybe he and and Terry Wilson can face each other in the Swamp next season!

He has looked good every time he has had a chance to play with the exception of one spring game where he was in with all the backups going against the number one defense. Kyle has looked good from day one. He just didn't have the vocal leadership the coaches were looking for. He's a quiet kid, and they felt Franks was a better leader and had more upside potential when Mullen named him the starter last year. The only reason he got offered at UF was because he outplayed all the 4 and 5 star Qbs that were at the UF camp when he was a backup in HS.

We need to remember how Franks finished last season. Now, I know, I know....Felipe drove ALL of Gator Nation crazy with the boneheaded mistakes. I thought (hoped) he was going to continue and build off of the FSU and Michigan games from last year, but he was going backwards. And if you can't succeed at QB with Mullen at the helm.....I just don't know man, I just don't know. Let's just not call injured players, especially GATORS, negative names. Great or not, he's always going to be fam. #GATOR4LIFE (except for Cam)

Hey, we got 1 more easy game left to work some of these kinks out. After that its smash mouth SEC ball with real teams. I think Coach Mullins needs to get both QB's some work in this next game. You dont want that Freshmen QB having to take over totally green if Trask goes down. We need to jump on these Vols early and hard the 1st half, so they can get Emery the 2nd half to get some snaps in so he can get feel for what it's like, get those 1st time heebie geebies outta the way. To be honest, you know how every now and then you have 1 of those kids that doesnt impress many people but then gets in the game on game day and suddenly he's some phenom. I just have this gut feeling or maybe we should call it wishful thinking... its definitely 1 or the other, let's find out what our freshmen QB looks like on Saturdays.

Love your videos as a fellow film junkie.. Im usually more pessimistic sounding to fans because I understand the reality of the game and x's and o's.. I truly actually think the run game and OL will gel and get better as we play a few more games for a few reasons: One defenses have stuffed the box still running up 7 and even 9 often times because Franks never made them pay down the field enough. Trask will open up the passing game first to allow the balance of the run game to open as those Backers start sitting on their heels respecting those PA and RPO fakes.. and lastly, lets not forget that Florida has played two really tough front 7's and D's to run the football against for any team period. The young OL, like any position harder to play the closer to the ball they are, they aren't making mistakes because they aren't physically able, but rather because they don't have the mental side down yet or the reps quite enough to gel as a unit.. This team will improve a lot as the season goes on and they have fortunately not had to pay for their learning curve with losses like most teams do...

While Trask had one bad throw. Franks has MANY bad throws every game. Franks would be good receiver. Trask would be quite a bit better if he had more field time.

I am a giant Gators fan, though I have to admit, that our o-line is very weak. Which is compounded by weak running backs. If our o-line and running backs were stronger, I don't think Franks would've gotten injured.
@alexandernorman53375 жыл бұрын
Definitely, Franks would not have got hurt if the run game was better. You can watch the postgames and they ask Mullen about the run game each time. He puts a good spin on it but you can tell he's worried. He talks about balance between the pass and the run but you can tell he'd like that balance a good bit more in favor of the run. But our O-line and RBs are just not meshing, and its looking like Mullen and the OC still don't know how to get them to.
@bubbawubba23075 жыл бұрын
Key to the game is Kentucky going to a soft zone. When they did that Florida just marched all over em. Don't know why they was not aggressive with the new QB. It was like they was wanting to lose the game.

bubba wubba what i been telling people, which is why i said don’t be too sold on trask just yet, and the defense for florida played better which can be attributed to the win just as much as trask coming in. @northfloridacowboy87285 жыл бұрын
Wrong, franks arm may be a little stronger, but not much if at all. I've been studying trask for 3 years. The difference really, is franks has long ass arms and uses his full arm, so like a catapult he has lots of leverage, I have the same mechanics. He gets a hard throw, but a late release though. Considering that trask doesn't use as much arm to throw he throws really as hard and far, maybe a tad less, but what you get is a faster release.
