Seriously, he's not doing a sim check. Pffft, have fun, do whatever! I was waiting for the shaking and whining of the nosewheel after retraction (worn snubbers and nosewheel shimmy ftw), but I guess you've simulated a new one, and not one with shall we say 'some wear and tear' ;) Also I see you have the newer push button switches on some overhead selectors, as opposed to the older ones from the 1960's.....in my company that's called HERESY, AND MUST BE CLEANSED AND BURNED. Your only arguments against the fact that his skills look very bad, is my music taste 😂. That shows me just that you got bullied too much by guys like in this music Videos and that you have no clue bout flying. And stop be annoying

The expense of building would likely pay for a pilots licence but perhaps the builders background is electronics and what is not mentioned is did he start 10 years ago as a hobby that just got out of control and led to this. Absolutely magnificent. Changing up to 2020 ms sim will be straightforward if you have a mega graphics card. Fabulous and hateful to see the many negative comments from those envious at your successful build. Enjoy and can you leave this to me in the Will ?

I build it in 2 to 3 months. I had it for 6 months, sold it last year in parts. Now focusing on the motion race flight sim. Look at my other video’s

@@SplendidSimulations An amazing feat- shame you had to break it up into parts. Would have thought an enthusiast would have liked that intact. Question... just out of curiosity how much did it cost to build and were can you source parts for all of that gear.
@SplendidSimulations5 жыл бұрын
Ron Patterson i sourced parts from everywhere. Most second hand. The overhead and mip was build and wired by myself. Cost without the screens and pc was for me approximately 3k because i had parts like old pc’s and screens laying around

@@SplendidSimulations So how did you get the seamless view from the cockpit? is that view projected onto a wall with a wooden frame built for the cockpit. Certainly impressive by any standard and one of the best I have ever seen. Are you from an electronics background.

Ron Patterson it are 5 1080p 46inch tv’s. Read the video description. Thanks for the compliment

Yea I’d definitely like to use your idea to build a Commercial Sim cockpit. I’m completing my GA cockpit. Amazing set up and awesome short flight test.

let it be no. It all depents on a 1000 things. I got the screens for cheap etc. from the time building i guess not more the 5k. But then again i had a lot of stuff laying around or got them really cheap. (Like the pc’s and displays)

Only $5000.00? Where did you find all the control panels for next to nothing?

13:37 is that power cable tower really that high? Seems a bit dangerous. But COOL setup

yup i was thinking that, surely thats not there in real life?

It’s not there in real life, it’s just something the autogen created. In reality there should be no obstacles on the approach or departure path.

Very good video... I do place Anti-collision lights to on when starting engines and position lights to steady. When approaching runway for T/O I place position lights to strobe.
