Well I hope so. They used to be like the old Fosgate equipment where you got more than advertised and they lasted forever. You may remember the old Savard RAP, Crunch and gold letter Kickers comp subs and Autotek and Rodek amps were bass head speakers of choice lol I think that was about 1995 or so.

wow...if hes really hitn db's with just those two pioneers that's impressive. To all the haters doggin on the fact their pioneers I have news for ya...they aren't low quality, suckers hit. Yeah a w7 will be a thousand times cleaner but hey man...when your young and having fun who cares? More power to him (and his gf's wonderful chestsicles)! When I was in HS (2001)I had a $500 buick century and 3 infinity 12's that hit 138db's hooked to a hifonics brutus (2kw..supposedly but hey it worked) and I got myself into plenty of trouble with that thing! LOVED IT!! Keep beatin out man...have fun while you can just don't be a douche and dive thru residential neighborhoods at full blast thinking its cool

Depends on the map you will be running and what you want out of your system. The P3's will have a flatter response (hit most notes the same volume level). The Pioneers will likely outperform the P3's in sheer output and play lower notes better. The P3's will also do more on lower wattages, but the Pioneers will handle more watts.
