Why in the world would press the ball joint out instead of knocking it out of the spindle ?

I didn't have to press it out of the upper control arm. I used a dead blow hammer and it came out pretty easy.

Any issues breaking the Visco axles? Did you like the upgrade?

I've broke one axle and it was my fault. The Halo Locker works great but does make it harder to steer.

Yes only when it is locked in. I installed the epower steering kit and it has helped.

Mine already has locking front diff , I assume they didn't before

With the Visco-Lok differential, the wheel has to slip for the differential lock to engage. The spinning axle engages a hydraulic pump in the differential which, in turn, engages the clutch pack and locks the differential. ... With Can-Am's new Smart-Lok differential, the clutch pack is engaged by an electronic actuator.

Yes it is definitely harder to steer with it locked in. EZ-steer makes a stronger power steering kit that I'm sure would help but I have not put it on mine.

great video although I saw another video where they had to slam the the axle into the diff to be sure it was seated correctly. You didn't show that part of the install, wondering you experienced the same thing?

Ted H. It really did not take alot of force to pop the axles back in. I was actually surprised at how easy it was compared to my experience with rzr axles.

Levi Lutz .. I say Visco lock mode but if you have a front wheel spin then both will not lock up like it did when the diff was factory. Only when the Halo is engaged then both will be fully locked.

Samuel Campos .. The X3 is a beast. My rzr 1000 is not a turbo so the power difference is alot. The suspension and handling on the X3 is way better than my rzr. The X3 feels like you are sitting in a sports car vs. the rzr I feel more upright. It does make it harder to see over the top of the X3 but I'll take that trade off for the feel of the ride. They are both good machines but I'm definitely not regretting my decision on buying the X3.
