In France (and many other countries) the neutral wire N must be connected to ground PE when the inverter swiches to EPS-mode as we are no longer connected to the grid. Otherwise the phase P or the neutral N will be "floating" and may generate a dangerous voltage. Can you please tell if the inverter X1-Hybrid or X3-Hybrid will connect the neutral internally to ground or if this should be handled externally by a relay ? For example by your MateBox. Is this a parameter setting of the inverter, to chose or not ?

@@DaveDaveAlanAlan One might ask for a more comprehensive manual ... On the images chapter 2, presenting the different work modes, I've found an internal switch indicating à connection between off-grid NEUTRAL with the on-grid GROUND. There's no mentioning in the text however. My tests indicate this is the case, the neutral automatically connects to ground. Solax SAV Europe has not been able to confirm my observation. They even responded this is not the case. When I pointed out the image with the internal switch I never got à reply. I've also tried the parameters "External ATS" et "X1-MateBox-setting". There is no effect on the grounding issue.

Please clear ground points on batteries as these points are not in actual on batteries. Please also tell about PE point on EPS off grid connections

About the batteries, you need to ground the BMS (battery management system), not the actual battery.
