I got the base game on sale last year. Maybe one day I'll get around to playing it. The starter guides are very off putting online.

It used to toss you in the deep end without helping for the most part. But that has slowly changed over the years and now there is a pretty extensive tutorial to help. Most of it gets reinforced through either the Boron or Terran starts which is great!

Hi! I bought all the X line with expansions. I want to play it but I dont know if I should go directly to X4 or some of previous games deserve to be played. Maybe there is a way of speedrun? :/ I dont know, just tell me what you think. What I shouldnt miss?

No way to really speed run cause you get road blocked by either blueprints you don’t have or money you don’t have. In terms of the individual stories. But you don’t have to play them or any previous title. I would encourage you to do so, just cause the lore.

@@T-Skillet What if I create a new game, edit the savegame to get infinite money, and then only play the story?

@@arielguers1503 maybe a full day…. You might get bottlenecked with the economy in game for building stations or ships. You could play the stories all at once and hope between them. So yeah maybe a whole day.
