If I was walking towards the forge of the giants and saw 99 fire giants waiting for me, I'd just walk away and tell someone else to be Elden Lord. Also, that second that the Hoarah Louxs all started dashing at the same time after entering the fog gate was the most menacing thing I've ever seen.

If I had to guess the reason for the crashes for beast clergyman and Godfrey specifically, I'd wager it has something to do with too many cloth physics trying to load in at once. Maybe.

Fun fact: when Radahn sweeps both his cragged greatswords & causes a wide ripple of purple lightning, you can jump to avoid the damage since it's running across the ground This also works while on torrent

The reason your game is crashing for beast clergyman and godfrey phase one is that you likely unintentionally also spawned all of their phase 2 counterparts which are stored below their arenas. so you probably had close to 200 bosses instead of the 99 you originally intended (this is why godfrey phase 2 worked as intended)

No, I know Hoarah Loux is below the arena when we fight Godfrey. I only copied Godfrey 99 times, and for the second attempt I deleted them and copied Hoarah Loux 99 times. Same for Beast Clergyman, I know there is a second one below the arena, but he doesn't get copied when I copy the first one. Somebody else said it probably crashed because of their cloth physics.

I’m curious if there is any kind of build focused on AoE damage that could actually survive this (in a hypothetical situation where it didn’t crash). Spells like glintstone arc could probably destroy early bosses if you got the chance to cast them, and ashes like flame of the redmanes would probably be really effective as well. Dragon incantations would likely also be a great option, but again cast time is an issue. I would love to see someone do an attempt at this but, aside from it being absolute hell to do, I’m not sure how many setups could run it lol.

Anyone with a PC that can run normal Elden Ring, can run this. The biggest challenge is that 99 Bosses fill up their entire arena, so they are immediately on top of me as soon as I enter. If I put them in a big arena like Radahn's, it would be doable for pro players.

14:21 gotta be size of the bosses vs the arena. Large arenas like radahns don't crash cause it can fit a lot of data in that space or like with the soldiers they are so small the game can deal with it. The hourah loux models are probably smaller than the Godfrey models and so the game can deal with it.

What causes the crash could either be that some bosses have more complex character models, or cloth physics, or spawning too many projectiles, or possibly even the AI. The only thing I'm sure of is that it has nothing to do with the arena.

Surprisingly, not many of them. Of the ones in this video, only Margit and Radahn. For comparison, in Dark Souls 3, more than half of them could damage each other.

I don't think that's possible. If Elden Ring works similarly to Dark Souls 3, then the maximum number of player model characters in a map is around 40.
