Do not miss the Northern Scavenger channel ~ especially the recent 12 or 15-part Crossing Labrador series. And also the beast brothers at Jim Baird's recent 24-part series Over the Height of Land across northern Manitoba. Brother Ted also posted his perspective. Both unreal, with awesome whitewater skills! Yeah, poor Joe is a lightweight vs these guys, but for now, I'm sure he accepts that. They are all good buddies :o) Finally, Jon who is on this trip with Xander has his Lost Lakes channel that is always great, with a lot of Lake Superior footage.

We did a lot of white water RAFTING in Alaska. Saw a lot of canoe bones. You guys handled it just as we did 40 years ago. Of course rafting is way different and harder to steer. It’s nice to see you on an adventure with buddies! So much fun. Loved how you guys stayed together, analyzed the rapids, kept safety first. It brings back a lot of fond memories and good times.

Just amazing, Xander!! Thank you for risking life and limbs bringing us such thrilling episodes. And, Jon, you reminded me of my experience from many, many years ago, when I took my first class of canoeing in the NAIT pool.... then our instructors hauled us out to the Wild Hay river, not too far from Jasper... I thought they were C5 rapids, for corn's sake... most likely only C1. Scared the heck outta me. Yup, a whole bunch of our canoes ended up flipping. But such fun.
