I grew up going to temagami every summer. Still go. My dad owns an island out there. Been in his family for over a hundred years. It’s the most special place in the whole world. Thanks for sharing.

What you've said in the end its spot on. Here in Argentina we have national parks but they are closed to the general public (you can only walk on short trails without leaving them and you can camp only in one or two areas at most, without making fire), and you cant go backcountry camping to other places because everything is private property surrounded by nasty wires and the owners will get you out of there with bullets and hunting dogs. Its a special thing what you guys have in canada and you should protect it at all cost and never let them (politicians and landlords) take it away from you. Loving your videos buddy!

What a beautiful and unique experience! I've always been an advocate of conservation of nature for nature's sake, but over the last few years I've started learning to fish and forage for food every day. I'm starting to realize now that a meaningful connection to nature that includes food is the real meaning of life. A lot of people are missing out on this essential part of being human these days and that's gotta change.

Mushroom expert and truffle hunter here. Absolutely lobsters and black trumpets. Black trumpets are fantastic dried, in a creamy sauce and on burgers. I also grind them dried and used as seasoning and in dry rubs. For your viewers...always be 110% certain of fungi identification. There are many toxic look alikes and many toxic ones smell wonderfully earthy. Lots of frightening myths out there. Always cook wild mushrooms thoroughly as they can be toxic if under cooked. There are a few exceptions such as boletus edulis. New to your incredible channel...thank you for sharing your journeys and expertise!
