Certified RV Technician, Darren Koepp, works on a Xantrex Freedom Inverter’s Remote Panel that had lost communication with the Inverter unit and the lights on the panel were flashing repeatedly. Darren goes through the process of resetting the Inverter and getting the Remote Panel to go back to its normal operation.

Hi Darren I’m lucky to have my trailer at home I run 2 6 volt us2200 my last set lasted 6 years I turn off my battery disconnect and charge from my smart charger and my solar its worked out great thanks 😊

I have a Zantrex SW3012 for emergency home backup. Batteries are 10yr old trojans. When batteries are dead during an extended outage I can start and run my generator thro the inverter. A few days ago my batteries were drained and the kitchen light was cycling on and off indicating my batteries are old and drained. I started the generator and engaged my transfer switch to send power directly into the inverter but nothing happened. I then disconnected the battery knife switch, disengaged the generator, waited a few seconds and reconnected the generator and my wife's mouth thankfully disengaged. The inverter then kicked in and powered the house. In effect it mirrored your instructions.

Thanks for another great video, do you have an easy wire diagram for 12 volt side of Instal a wfco 8935? I’m restoring a 71 18 plus chinook. Ac side no problems but not sure where to put disconnect and fuse link. Will be using coach battery to solenoid to house battery to converter thanks

What's your thought on the Battery Temp Sensor thats located on the front panel next to the remote wire? According to the manufacturer, that wire is suppose to be connect to the Positive cable on one of the batteries, although it's not conductive and doesn't need any power. Ive watched another channel talk about NOT connecting that wire to the battery, because it can potentially cause the Inverter to get destroyed if that wire has any issues!

It seems you have a pretty good inventory of parts when on jobs. Where do you get them and are there any wholesale rv parts companies? What do you tell customers when you figure out there problem and you don’t have the parts?

Thanks for a great video, I put 3 new 8d batteries in my coach but my bulk power red light is on , I have xantrex freedom 458 the low battery light is on and the other green light (2 little green lights on top left of inverter.) Do you think a reset will fix or does it sound like a bad inverter?

I really don’t know how to use this inverter correctly and really would like some help. I don’t want to start a fire or electrocute myself. Do you have a video explaining the use of an RV inverter? Sir, mice chewed through the remote Xnatrex Pro 1000's RJ 45 wire cord in the control monitors bay located inside the rig. I unscrewed the module read out board and plugged it into the main front inverter in the cargo bay of my Navion. Hit the reset button on side but nothing lights up. The GFCI receptable on the inverter works when on shore power but does not work when unpluigged. Do you think a hard boot will work? Thank you in advance.

Isn’t the converter supposed to be charging up the battery? So when we come back from dry camping with a low battery we need to reset every time? I cannot just plug it into sure power and charge it back up?!?!

Hey Darren, Have a Coachmen Beyond 2020 and my galley Lites, Water Pump, Power Awning not working But Auto-Start and Stop for Genny Works Fine. All These things are Controlled by FIREFLY CONTROL PANEL. We Unplugged FIREFLY to Try an Reboot But Unsuccessful ! Any Suggestion ???

I put the male end of my RV Cord inside the van and shut the door on it theres enough space to go around the cord by the male end that why I know no one would try to plug it back in

If I ever have to hard reset my inverter charger I can use the app to turn off the BMS to my lithium battery setup
