I was hospitalized with a blood clot in my leg and was given this medication. After being sent home I did another ultrasound which revealed that it was a bakers cyst not a blood clot. However my doctor asked me to continue taking xarelto . I am now experiencing nose bleeds, I am lost because I don't know if I should continue taking this

I haveto have a tooth pulled and my heart doctor wants me to stop taking xarelto for up to four days because he's afraid of excess bleeding but without the Xarelto there's a chance of thrombosis and possibly a stroke ir heart attack. I guess either way i have a problem.

I took Xarelto for two days; knocked a small scab off and bled for 18 hours afterward. No more Xarelto.

I went to the ER last month for palpitations they said I was in AFIb. They performed a TTE and heart rate went back to normal. I been on Xaralto since last month and been having stomach ache that is so painful that I feel like I am in labor and horrible lower back pain. I was not able to sleep. I called my doctor several times but he kept saying take the drug. I told him I will need a pain killer to tolerate the drug. Last week I had blood in my urine and went to the ER again. They said I had kidney inflammation or infection. They put me on antibiotic. I stop the Xaralto the bleeding stop and the pain stop and I was able to sleep. I am changing doctor and I will take my risk of a stroke. I feel this med is not for me and it will kill me if I kept taking it or destroy my organs

I tried to find a way to show you my left arm, black and purple.......I internally broke a blood vessel thru straining in garden, then it turned all these colors and there is nothing they can do......I blame this on Xarelto, I stopped it on my own and am searching for natural blood thinners.......since in test animals it causes the rats to bleed to death internally, they why is it good for us...?????????

I woke up covered in blood and had to walk to the bathroom with blood pouring down my legs, and the other night I had to set my alarm for every hour all night to change my tampon, yet they won't admit in the side effects that it can absolutely wreak havoc with menstruation..

I did & i am still alive. They gave me 25mg Metoprolol tartrate twice a day & 20 mg of Xarelto (rivaroxaban) for my afib (heartbeat irregular) for about 2 weeks, then i just stopped taking anything. I put my trust in God all the way, not halfway, yes halfway, cause i am studying herbs & food like mad. I can invent the greatest concoctions already. I learned about anointed oil, i'm all up on DMSO, Colloidal Silver, MMS-humble, i make my own sleeping tincture that really works to get me the Healing Deep Sleep, etc. Melatonin turns out to be discovered more how great it is 4 healing & sanity.
