*OH MY GOD* BBubbleOh is a redstone genius. I'm building an office and using pressure plates above gates for desks, and every time you jostle a desk, it opens the gate and breaks off the plate. But, indeed, if you put a torch underneath (or under a full bloxk under the gate), it *locks* the gate!!

The redstone torch below the trapdoors is to lock them, because buttons and pressure plates are used for decoration and BDubs wants to avoid flipping them while you walk.

iJevin has declared that for him, the Christmas season started as soon as Halloween was over, intending to spread holiday spirit around the server, whether others think the timing is right there or not. That contraption under your floor was supposed to be triggered by your footsteps, but Jevin didn't obviously build it quite right.

I love love love how you did the pew pew laser beams! I wasn't expecting them each to be a different color set, but it looks great! And I'm glad Joel finally let you show it off at night! ;D I also appreciate how you showed figuring out the armor stand changes you were doing. I know it's not the best video content to see scootching back and forth among minuscule differences in settings for as long as it takes to get the perfect result, but it's good to see some of the work that goes into it. Glad you had a nice, chill Thanksgiving! I'm now really glad I was too busy with Turkey Day cooking and cleanup to watch videos until today, because I have Opinions about Christmas content before December 1 (or the first Sunday of Advent when that comes first). But now I can finally go back and catch up on a bunch of Jevin that I deliberately skipped when I saw that he was jumping straight from Halloween to Christmas without a pause!

the redstone torches and an oldschool trick to prevent trapdoor flipping. they will force the trapdoor above the block closed. but it didn't work because you can't power moss. guess he didn't know.

I expect the redstone torch was supposed to lock the trapdoors so that a pressure plate wouldn't activate them annoyingly every time you walked past. Of course, evidently the offending pressure plate was later removed, and the torch forgotten about

26:00 How convenient that I just came from BDubs's video! This redstone contraption was placed in your base before bdubs built your garden and was repeatedly getting triggered while he was setting up to work, so he disabled it so it would not distract him with the intention of fixing it after the garden was finished. But clearly, he forgot to fix it. The reason it was not working was because a redstone torch is missing.

Repeater is fine, you just need a signal output not a precise signal strengh.

@xBCrafted I think it's how defined and matte the textures look, not the resolution. Just seems like the textures are based off older block textures. True, you and others will like it. It's all subjective and won't stop me from enjoying your vids.
