Boa sorte. É um trabalho bastante fácil de concluir.

I put a samsung ssd in my orginal xbox from 2013. That made traversing the OS so much better. Its so much faster.

Yup XBox really caused their systems to run slowly with the hdd

@DIYNorth my only issue i have with the video is the ssd you used. WD sells Dramless SSDs and after you fill up the ssd over half way, it will slow down as fast as a hdd. When it comes to sata ssds, I'd go with Samsung. They all have dram. That's the reason why Samsung drivers cost more than other drives. Dramless drives are fine if you use them as gaming drives but they are terrible if you install an OS on them.

@@bryanwages3518 I would buy a Samsung as well, however I already had this one so it was free. I really didn't experience any slow down in using this SSD in the XBox One. It was in my original Gen Xbox One for a year and totally full and absolutely no slow down in boot times and other OS tasks was noted. I removed the SSD three videos ago and I can say with certainty that the completely full SSD, was way faster than a freshly restored HDD.

My SSD failed in my Xbox One X after about a year of use. I purchased a 2TB Teamgroup EX2 in 2023. As of now I'll get errors when launching Forza 7 saying that the program took too long to launch. On the rare instances of where it can launch, it will crash back to the menu while loading the a track. I think there may be long term issues with using an SSD in this device.

The ssd should in theory last longer than the hdd that the device came with.

The problem with consoles is that they cannot do TRIM like on a PC, which means they deteriorate sooner since this way they are always writing in the same area of the cells. How easy Microsoft made it to change the HDD in these consoles. 😁😁

I had the Xbox One base model and it isn't as good. The XBox One X isn't bad though, still worth buying if you can find a cheap used one.

Did this 2 months ago. Cleaned. Repasted everything. Put 2TB on it. Because its the official limit. Obviously installation und responsivenes is smoother than stock

2Tb is a good idea. 1 Tb doesn't hold that many games. I might get an external drive

@DIYNorth go get a cheap 2TB and replace your 1TB. This time you are trained. just played call of duty ONE remake. It took over 150GB, w*f . But great graphics for Xbox one X . Just for call of duty 1,2,3+ online combined you need 400GB...

Play station makes it easy. Xbox really puts the drive in deep
