NOTE: you might get the correct diode measurements but the port could still be the problem if you have solder bridges from a previous repair. To rule out solder bridges, you will also want to check continuity between consecutive pins. Thanks for the video, it was helpful for troubleshooting hdmi problems on my xbox one x.

my readings are little off.. some mid 600s some low 600s some mid 500s some low 500s ? but do get readings in all EXCEPT I GET 527 on pin 14 where it should be 000?

How would you go about checking the voltage of the hdmi using that same device?

Black probe on ground, meter set to DC voltage. I don't have a One X handy but I believe that 1.5 and 3.6 rails should be present with the device connected to power. 5V likely won't show up until you turn the console on.

Would there be different measurements or somehow to distinguish the difference between a faulty port or faulty re-timer chip in the Xbox series X using this method?

On my multimeter alot of my values were 8.9.2 , is that essentially the same as you were getting? Do the decimal points matter?
