SCUF Prestige is great - but the Xbox Elite Controller is just better. The paddles of a SCUF feel great but the Xbox Elite paddles feel better. Plus the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 is coming soon

jerry dickerson Xbox controllers are cheap. My ps4 pro controller still feels fine while my Xbox one X controller I had to send it back for a new one. And even the replacement got bad stick drift. That’s why I play on my ps4 pro 99% of the time now.

It's the price people hate and some scuffs have been sold broking. Live scuff vintage for example, was sold to people and it would take connect to the ps4. Cost 200 and they wouldn't allow customers to send it back. In fact good luck sending any scuff back lol. Scuff is only so big because off sponsors. Battle beaver is without a doubt the best controller you can buy. And it's cheaper than elite and scuff.

DON'T USE ANY. I had elite controller my ex bought me it a long time ago. It broke and my now fiance bought me another and it lasted a month. I press my analogue to hard and it breaks them really fast. Got myself a strike pack dominator now. Cost me £40. It clips on to your normal controller and it has 2 paddles.

Don't waste your money. If you want the best controller out there then go check out battle beaver. It is without a doubt the best you can buy. You can fully customise it to your liking. If you want something cheap and just for paddles get a strike pack. £40 two paddles and clips on normall controller

Looks cool... but, nothing here that makes me want to move from the Elite controller. Tip for Elite controller buyers: try Best Buy and invest in their Geek Squad warranty. Only costs $15 for two years of coverage... if something goes wrong, you bring it in and they give you a new one - it's that simple... and then you pay $15 to cover that controller for two years... and the cycle continues... :)

I received my Scuf Prestige the day after this video was posted. It was on sale for preorder when I bought it (I did not see that then) and said it would ship in 30 days it took 45 days and a service ticket to finally get it, they did upgrade my shipping to 2 day air. The controller feels good a little stiff but it is new, one complaint is that there is no longer a battery compartment, the convenience of being able to slap in a couple AA batteries in case I forgot a cable to charge the battery pack was nice.

I like Scuff, but here's why I do an Elite controller instead. Buy the Elite at Gamestop or Best Buy or wherever and just purchase the protection plan. Every time it breaks I get a free controller and just pay $30 for the new protection plan (usually every 1.5 to 2 years)

Why get any? If you just want cheap paddles get a strike pack. £40 2 paddles. If you want the absolute best controller on the planet get battle beaver controller and pimp it out. People buy scuff because off people like driftor. He does a video and some people will buy. It's how people hear off the product. Most people ain't heard off strike pack or battle beaver. Scuff have done a good job getting all the KZbin sponsor's. And making people fall in to buying there rip off controllers.

@@Mikeyyyy I've never had those issues nor have I heard of any complaints over those issues. The only issue is heat changes might cause the rubber grips to fall off but a dab of superglue will keep them in place. And the stick wouldn't break, they would fall off before they could break. If you managed to break any of those components, you did it intentionally, not through gameplay use. Quit throwing your controllers.

Even if you don't have an Xbox to test out this controller, you can still do so by playing Apex on PC with it.. Anyways, I've owned two PS4 Scuf controllers (I used your code in both times) and I've not been happy with the quality I'm getting for the amount of money I've paid. The first controller came with a manufacture defect, but Scuf refused to send me a replacement and insisted to fix the defect and return the same unit. But that controller died on me in about a year or year and a half. Then I ordered Infinity 4PS PRO, which I've been using for less than a month, and I'm noticing a dead zone in the left stick already. I hope you provide your sponsors with this kind of feedback you're getting from your viewers.

I know you love Scuf stuff Driftor, but its one of the areas I've always disagreed with you. The Razer Controllers were always better for me, and the Xbox Elite was great as well, save for the initial production quality issues which they later fixed - and the Xbox Elite 2 is coming out as well it looks like it will probably be the de facto best controller on the market across all systems. Like straight up the Elite 2 looks amazing. So even if you're in the market for an Xbox One controller I'd say wait a couple months and pick up an Xbox Elite Controller 2.

Peter Diabo I’ve gotten stick drift maybe twice? I just take the sticks out and clean them usually fixes the problem. And I have replaced the sticks. They are consistent problems as well my roommate also has a scuf and had identical problems. Also I play anything from doom and remnant, to halo and call of duty.

As much as I prefer Xbox over PlayStation, I hate this generations xbox controllers. There isn’t enough tension on the analog sticks. Buying a scuf Xbox one controller doesn’t fix that issue. But the new Xbox elite version 2 that comes out in November has a tension adjustment feature to help fix this issue. So that’s what I’m personally waiting for.
