A power surge happened to me but my power went out like 5 times in a row was really bad. I replaced my retimer chip and still no luck I did everything like this guy and nonthing works, I guess it’s time to go to PC. If you got yours working I would love to know how 💯

I'm having this same issue.. New port, new retimer, replaced a few resistors, and ic chip I think it's called.. Still no image.. Where is this pack you speak of?

Booster IC chip. It's necessary for 4K. If you don't care about 4K or you just want to test it without 4K you can bypass it

Hi I am in the middle of repairing a previous hdmi repair attempt and nootices that the resistor R178 is missing beside the hdmi retimer chip, is there you would know or anyone has an idea what is the value of the resistor R178? Thank you

From the schematic it should be a 0 ohm 402

Hey I have that exact problem can you help me. I took it to a repair shop and he said the chip is dead and i need a new one. If you could ship me a chip out or i could send you my xbox. I would be willing to pay for it to be sent out or fixed. Also what is your store/stores addresses and where is the general area they are located. You are my last hope please respond!!

I just blasted this chip with 500c for 22 minutes and it didn't budge or melt a bit. I even tried blasting it with 500c while putting my soldering iron on the pins (also at 500c) and nothing. wtf And this is after spending hours replacing the HDMI port (which didn't fix the issue)

Hello, the other day a lightning struck my house at night, the next morning I turn on the xbox series s, but despite everything seems to work at the software level, the video signal never reaches the TV. They tell me it's possible it's the fault of the electrocuted video chip. Is it possible, or could it be something worse?
