games like Bloodborne, Demons Souls, Returnal, Ghost of Tsushima etc. single handedly destroy whole of game pass.. it's a no brainer.. idk wats about tagging game pass as best.. ppl will say day 1 exclusives but then some smart guy will ask them how many day 1 exclusives did u play since game pass launched.. count on one finger.. umm Halo infinite? that unfinished game must b one of em.. eh yea? 🤔

I’ve always been a PlayStation first as my primary console and then got an Xbox at some point down the line after a couple of years. Stock levels made it hard to get a PS5 during Christmas 2020 and tbh I was thinking of getting the XSX initially anyway. Luckily I managed to find stock of the XSX during this time and from a user/customer experience it’s just been everything you would of wanted from a console/service, and more. I don’t need anything else right now from a system, it just hits all the right notes.

I was lucky enough to get the Series X on launch day. I started out playing on a 4k HDR tv, not sure what kind it was. But a 6 months ago I made a lot of upgrades to my setup. I mainly keep it in my home office where it's hooked to an LG C1 and a small LG SPD7Y atmos sounder. I do freelance video editing so the OLED is also calibrated for color grading, but as a casual gamer, 4k Dolby Vision gaming at 120 fps is an amazing experience. But when I have friends over and we just wanna play split screen zombies or Fifa on a big screen, I recently finished up a home theatre setup so it hooks up to a Benq x3000i and a true 5.1.2 atmos surround sound system. No dolby vision or 120 fps, but still HDR at 60 in 4k on 120 inches for any casual gaming or especially single player open world is amazing. I bring all this up because it just feels so nice to have a versatile console that can do all of this. You just plug it in, and its a simple menu system to choose your video and audio settings, no troubleshooting or headaches, just fun. Haven't had this much fun since the 360🔥

My son got me a Series S I owned a one s. The change was beautiful. But I lucked an picked up a Series X Gorgeous on my 4k an surround sound im good don't need another system for a while im still playing around looking at the difference between the two grab any Series you can get you won't be disappointed No mans Sky here i come 😃

I have both a ps5 and Xbox and although the exclusives on ps5 are banger, the Xbox quick resume, game pass, and the aesthetic make it on par of PlayStation. I’ve had a few glitches/bugs with my ps5, never with the Xbox. Truly an amazing console.

It has Dolby Vision Atmos, so does my tv and receiver from Denon, so you can imagine that the quality of sound It's amazing, i've playing ps4 with the same sound system... and it's night and day... when you have all compatible... it's crazy good...

I agree I have an LG oled with Dolby Vision and with a 120hz refresh rate paired with LG 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos soundbar and it is amazing. The Ps5's 3D tempest audio isn't bad either. The Ps5 can run some games at 120fps but with no Dolby Vision

i have PC, SX, OLED switch, and HAD PS5 and i sold my PS5 sony games r just boring to me and single player games shouldn't be 70$+ but also PC gaming is over hyped and just not worth it either... and obviously if u have a OG switch then the OLED switch isnt worth it... but the series X from an Xbox one X is actually an upgrade... if ur literally on PC and thats ur main gaming source then stay PC and just upgrade... (mainly cause ur used to M/K even tho u can do M/K on the newer consoles as long as the game supports it) but for 500$ u have a gaming PC and xbox everything in the X and the series S is still an upgrade... my PC is for my PC "master race friends LMAO" and my switch if because.. well pokemon... and my xbox is for all my friends who just still had console and didnt wanna switch to PC...which i completely agree with because i game on my xbox 100% of the time.. theres no reason to even invest in PC IMO.. an buying a playstation i guess if u wanna play a single player game for 70$ and let it sit on ur shelf/console and never touch it unless u wanna replay... i love GoW but i found watchin someone press X is much better then doing it myself... like i said single player games aren't for me... (even tho i love skyrim lol)... but nvm me im just a boring gamer... play and buy what u want.

I have a PC that I bought in 2020 for $800 and honestly every game performs and looks so much better on the XSX for only $500. I switch between my 4k60Hz TV for singleplayer games and my 1080p120Hz monitor for online games. I honestly don't think I will buy a PC ever again.

Great review! I have both as well and really enjoy them. One thing though, I don’t understand why everyone dumps on the Xbox controller for using AA batteries. It’s easy to run a rechargeable battery pack or rechargeable AA batteries. And if the battery pack dies, swap in a new. Easier, cheaper, and much less e-waste than built in batteries. Granted, it’s not terribly difficult to disassemble a PS5 controller to swap the battery. But most people aren’t going to do that. They are going to throw away the controller and buy a new one. What is the case for built-in batteries being the better option? What am I missing?

Got my series X 3 months after launch unfortunately had to pay resell price..but I paid it with a 1440p 240hz monitor and I absolutely love gaming on it! Great video!

I've been enjoying both my series x and PS5 as well, I do have a nice 55" 4k tv with HDR but it doesn't have HDMI 2.1 so I play at 4k 60fps which is still fine, i've never had any other controller than the one that comes with the xbox so I would like to see if the one you upgraded to that i've heard a lot about is worth the price to pick up.

My Xbox X looks better on my LG OLED TV. I have never felt like any other consoles has been closer to the more expensive PC gaming until this generation. It has been a fantastic two years of gaming due mostly to Game Pass. Both Xbox X and PS5 are looking great and I have no complaints except I wish Nintendo would upgrade to new tech because everything on the Switch is now looking terrible in comparison. That is not fun with Zelda Tears of the Kingdom coming out in May. Unfortunately, Steam Decks don’t sell natively in Australia yet.

Got tired of waiting .. made the switch and while PlayStation is the weaker console- its games look amazing and a step above Microsoft. PS5 will always make more sense to own regarding consoles as a gaming enthusiasts for the exclusives alone. I prefer PC gaming but if I want to play a console exclusive it would most likely be on PS5. I can currently play the whole Xbox Library of games on my PC while using a controller and TV if I choose to. That takes the whole need of wanting to own a Xbox away for many consumers.

Everyone doesn't feel that way. Series X can play many old 360/OG Xbox games. Some prefer the Xbox ecosystem, I definitely do. I built a PC but I still use my Series X primarily. I'm even considering putting a Series S on my computer monitor.

i owned my series x for 7 months but i hate how with in playing cyberp unk 2077 my left stick drifted i know when during the 5 hour mark it drifted a bit after 10 hours of gameplay 1 day on cp2077 my stick is permantily drifting up when you have too double click the L stick 2 times too run i pissed me off thank god i did not use my auqa shift blue controller for cp2077 i use my blue shit controller for exclusives on series x .

This'll be my go to console as well! All I'm getting for PS5 and (maybe) the Nintendo switch, are their console exclusives (Werewolf the Apocalypse Earth blood and Siren Ring are now on series x so I won't play them on PS5) and Nintendo exclusives go with the switch oled. Only a few exceptions like KZbin and Netflix and Fortnite. But Xbox is my future main console for movies media and gaming. Whatever isn't on the system will be on my future ps5 and switch oled. Thanks for the review. I'm getting Assassins Creed Origins Gold Edition first.

Quick resume is good idea since i play on normal and i switch to any idle afk game like Clicker heroes. or fallout shelter but .. i dont really using much all i just focus on one game and nothing else . and yeah Xbox series X is good . but i have been issues with Wifi after day of purchase. all i do just clear cache and restart console. after that is good as is.

And if u checked the current component of ps5 today was shrinked too small that it rendered the big size casing useless. Piece of crap design, they could have to make look so sleek but they designed like Alienware 2008 casing which 8 yr olds wanted. You can use a Micro USB cord for the Series ax controller and plug it into an AC plug, no need for batteries ever.

I wish xbox would upgrade the recording feature. Last night on ps5 we recorded an hour of 4k gameplay in real time, shared each others screens and had them pinned in the corner.. etc etc. go back to series x and its a minute of blurry footage after the incident. Other than that series X is alright

I have an Alienware m17 r4 laptop because nowhere would sell me a PS5. It cost well over £1000 more. 😮 I have game pass and the Xbox elite 2 controller aswell. I love it, it’s basically an Xbox. But I didn’t know how good the Xbox was. I like the quick resume thing which I don’t seem to have on my high end gaming laptop. It took me an hour to play COD that came out last night so it’s awesome that you don’t need to update drivers and type in commands etc with an Xbox. It’s far far far simpler. Great idea if you are a hard working gaming dad with wife and dog, you may only have a spare hour or two sometimes so it would suck to spend half of that tinkering just to play Xbox. I love my laptop but if I was a billionaire I’d also have an Xbox for ease of use. It’s a great great option. As a life long Sony fanboy I can say Xbox won this generation by miles.

nice video ! I have a series S and I am trying to get a ps5 which is almost impossible her in my country. I live in the Netherlands. Do you think I should go for a series S or wait till the Ps5 is available? I already have the series s so I don't see really the point. Let me know what you think. And btw you have a new sub 🙂

Been a lifelong Nintendo fan , PlayStation just never caught on for me , then I experienced Xbox 360. Fast forward I’m a proud Nintendo switch /series x owner . Sony has excellent games for sure , but I just prefer the cost friendly approach as a father and husband , gamepass is very easyyyy on my wallet .

I want to add Dolby Atmos for Games. For me the best feature besides quick resume.
