I thought I was going mental, i installed Dev Mode and setting up my emulators, wanted to install DuckStation now and all of the sudden it disapeared from the devstore, i wasnt sure if I was imagining stuff.

Another great tutorial. Out of curiousity ( because I have this problem) how can you change the default language on Duckstation on an Xbox? Mine changed to Portugese all by itself. So i'm thinking I need to find a file within Duckstation using ADV file explorer and alter it somehow?

@ArchadesGames to get the post processing shaders to work on the xbox, select a shader, then assign a Hotkey (in settings) to 'Toggle Post-Processing' and then in game press the hotkey, the shaders are applied. Not sure why this is the only way to get them working.

Duckstation isn't being updated so Swanstation is the better version of it on Xbox so use that

Hi archades, i set up my xbox with dolphin a while ago using your tutorial and until now it worked great. I hadnt been using my xbox for emulation in a while and recently I came back to it. Was working great until I tried to add some more games and my xbox just would recognize that there were more games, it only showed me the ones I added a while ago, not any of the new ones. Just now I tried opening dolphin and now the app crashes every time i try to open it. Should I just reinstall everything? It would be a pain to have to redo everything I did before and I'm not sure how I would keep my game saves

​@@ArchadesGames I found this issue, I added the correct permissions but now my E drive is showing up but the directory I created for Duckstation just shows duck station when I go to add my bios. It wont show bios,cover art, Memory Card folders. I'm lost...

You have to use windows to properly format and give the proper permissions.

I did this & really saw no point in it, retroarch ps1 is just as good on dev mode if not even better than the standalone duckstation. You can even just download the cover arts directly from the console & upscale the internal resulation on the retroarch settings. Probably faster too because you dont got to download the standalone uwp & upload it. I ended up deleting duckstation wanted to see if it would be somewhat better.

Does anyone know how to fix Duckstation crashing when an achievement would be given (retroachievements built in) Does it every single time and crashes back to the dev screen (Happens on both Xbox Series S and X)

So I did everything but when I launch tekken 3 eu I just have black screen although I can accsss the duckstation menu but the game is just black screen

Some games will crash for some reason. Tenchu 1 on level 4 has an issue as well. I had to use the cheat to skip to level 5.

I have a series s and if i put it on 9x 4k my games stutter whenever i try move and the fps drops! i play it on 5x and its working fine, but shouldnt it work on 9x with a series s?
