Let this sink in too, Elder Scrolls VI, Fallout 5, a new Halo, a handheld, and the next systems are not too far off. The fact that some of these games that go to Playstation for $70 that allows Xbox to give these games to GamePass subscribers is just the perfect balance.

South of midnight stole the show for me. As a new ip and only the studios third game it has me excited to play! Xbox showed everyone to sit back and hold my popcorn as we show you how to do a show. A true surprise was the 33 game, I don’t normally play those style rpgs but it looked so good and it’s coming to gamepass

Lukather The Gears: E-Day trailer (and pretty much the entire showcase overall) made me feel like a kid again. I can’t wait to get into co-op with my older brother just like the good old days. And I’m glad we finally got a little more for State of Decay 3. I’ve loved that franchise since I played the first one a few years ago and have put hundreds of hours into it since. I would’ve liked to see more, like a release date, but I’m excited about what Undead Labs is cooking up. Bummed I couldn’t make it to the showcase and meet everyone but I have my fingers crossed for next year!

These are the games from the showcase that I am looking forward to, in order of interest and excitement, not release dates: • Assassin's Creed: Shadows • Fable • South of Midnight • Wuchang: Fallen Feathers • Flintlock: The Seige of Dawn • Gears of War: E-Day • Metal Gear Solid 🔺️: Snake Eater • Mecha Break • State of Decay 3 • Dragon Age: The Veilguard They showed 30 games and *10 of them* were for me!! I wish Xbox would bring back the NINJA GAIDEN franchise. If you remember, the first Ninja Gaiden was an Xbox exclusive. That could be Xbox's answer to Ghosts of Tsushima. And as a response to Spider-Man, Xbox should go all in on the DC properties and have The Coalition do a Man of Steel game on Unreal Engine 5.4.

Perfect dark clearly was the most surprising not that it was shown, but how epic it looks. With all the remaster rumors of GoW, to have E-Day as a new game was a very close second. Easily one of the best in years. The let down was the system revel, not that the systems were bad but that the games were just so outstanding.

I won't get my hopes up. After the previous showcase and most of those releases not being that great. That and a few of those games are still on this showcase without release dates. Doom is the only game I am excited for at this point. Also, while I will still play Gears of War E-Day, I don't agree with a prequel before releasing Gears 6. Don't make since to me. I feel we need closure on the current story first.
