There is an overreaction to Xbox "missing" Tokyo Game Show. Firstly, the Gematsu article is about physical presences at TGS. Microsoft have not had a booth at TGS at some time. Secondly, Xbox usually features in the digital section of the event, like for the last two TGS's. This does not get announced until later in the year.

Sony will present mainly the new ps5 pro and Microsoft will show up too, they usually confirm it arout 9 September, or any date after the Gamescon where Sony is not presenting. Microsoft has way to many games to miss any game conference

I'm really hoping that PlayStation does deliver because I don't want to just see Wolverine and the games that we already know that are coming but I'm also really hoping we get to see new games that are coming like ghost of tsushima 2 and Uncharted 5, and more. I wouldn't be surprised if the main reason of that Japanese sales surge is actually due to imports from China due to increased popularity of Game Pass in China. Chinese often import Console from Japan as the mainland China version has some limitations. The gaming market in China is humongous, able to single handedly carry Wukong to No.1 on steam.

I'm a long time Sony gamer and am happy with what Sony are doing. Xbox leant into we are gamers we are like you engage with us on social media, talk to us tell us what you want, we are listening etc. Sony and Nintendo have kept that distance. If we have something to say report or promote we will if not we won't. Yes it can be frustrating for gamers. I understand thar, but l believe it is the best policy. I'm a football/soccer fan. Fans call it their club. They demand repeat demand thar managers are sacked. How money should be spent. Even to the point if demand the actual owners of the club sell it and "get out of MY club!" We know Sony are working on games. We know they will come out at some point. That is good enough even if we don't know what games or when. Look at Marvel and the fiasco they created. They announce this us the itinerary of films for the next phase. Why did we need to know in 2020/2021 what films and TV shows are/were coming in 2024/25? Not just which films but the month. Correction the bloody day! Of they need to change the order or date it becomes a big thing. Rumours of film I'd in trouble, crap resorts etc. You don't see any studios giving day and dates of all forthcoming comedies, animations, horror films rom-com years in advance in the same way. There is a line separating wanting to know and needing to know. People these days seem to be permanently living their lives in the side of needing to know, some crossing over into 'l have a right to know" Am l interested what is coming? Yep. Am l curious what is coming? Yep. Do l NEED to know? Nope. Whether some of it is fuelled by jealousy l don't know. Xbox announces things. Nintendo announces things. Why should l wait to get announcements? Because that is just the way it is. I have lots of games to play while l wait. Plenty of Blu-rays to watch. Other things l can do. The lack of announcements is a non-issue. It's not even a blip on the radar.

I mean what do you think the sentiment is for Xbox in Japan after closing down Tango, which was created by one of Japan’s most respected producers, Shinji Mikami, who created Resident Evil? Think that maybe Xbox just burned their bridge there? What a horrible, horrible, horrible decision that was, especially as an Xbox gamer that’s been screaming for more Japanese content since Phil abandoned his sanity after the 360’s success because of the blowback he received for daring to make Rise of the Tomb Raider a timed exclusive, back when Xbox actually competed in the gaming industry.

rumors and speculation of the PS5 pro from people like you seems to be the only "sources" of "information" about a ps5 pro. I don't see any reason for it. the PS5 runs great as it is and at this point in graphics and game mechanics, you can't do much better. The PS5's internal drive is already upgradable and how many of you have an 8k tv? and as for pushing higher fps, you don't seem to appreciate that the more frames per second you try to push, the less render time you have for each frame. You all seem to just want bigger numbers for the heck of it.

Listen, to get things straight, I have both the Xbox and the ps5. I appreciate them both. It's difficult to recommend the Xbox to someone who can only afford one system, when all the great exclusive game seem to be on sony. The only good exclusives on the Xbox or the racing game which is the forza series, which I'm not into, and Halo infinite, if you play single player and HiFi Rush. Oh that's right, Microsoft killed their only Japanese studio that made that game. Make me so angry that I uninstalled Starfield soon after. Another false promise
