Oats They've already announced there's going to be three map packs, $10 US each, or a $25 pass for all of them. There may be more content in them, but all they're stating is that each will contain maps. They've also stated they intend to provide content in free updates, but the only thing they've said about that is that they will add private matches "and more".

Here from the future: Titanfall 2 has had a major resurgence (especially with fixed servers on PC) and rumors abound of a Titanfall 3. I haven't played Titanfall 2 for very long, but the game seems very well-loved for very good reason. Been enjoying it myself a lot.

More recent cods yes i mean cod ww2 only has an american campaign. But the mw games were more diverse with the first centered around SAS brits , mw2 focused on multiple perspectives while mw3 focused on one russian guy helping the brits and americans throughout ww3

I'm surprised Battlefield 2142 isn't mentioned at all. There are similar combat mechanics with mech's, and infantry, right there, back in 2006. Heavy Gear from 1997 mixes similar sized mech's with infantry like units as well, though more limited multiplayer.

From the future, Titanfall 2 was the spring board for one of the worlds most popular games: apex legends. Still inside the universe of titanfall, but instead is a battle royal gameplay. However, it’s been years since the release of titanfall 2, i and many other friends still have it installed and still play it. There has never been anything after Titanfall 2 that has come close to the elegance of the game. Activision and the COD franchise tried to copy Respawn, but to no avail and it made their games clunky. In all Titanfall 2 will not be going anywhere.

Well as a Finn (a language with lots of words that are very difficult to pronounce authentically for a foreigner), I can't really say it's "wrong" for them to pronounce it accordingly to their accent. I'd rather have foreigners try to say the word as they would naturally do instead of attempting to imitate the accent.

I loved Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I often refer to it when I compare the laggy performance of COD Ghosts to the more consistent performance of MOH:AA. At least for me, MOH was a much better gameplay experience then Ghosts is today. Great video, Stuart. Look forward to your future Titanfall videos.

I think titanfall will only topple infinity wards call of duty. Treyarch is by far the better studio and we have to wait till 2015 to see the next iteration. :(

Eh, each have been hit and miss. Black Ops 2 was excellent, but the first Black Ops was not enjoyable to me at all. I feel weird about Ghosts. It's not good at all, but I'm glad it was made. It finally made some risky changes to the formula, allowing the studio to prove they had the stones to actually try something new, and that's something we've needed for quite a while. On the other hand, the changes they made flopped hard.

Laying the foundation indeed. Titanfall is not as big a game as many hoped, but it's relatively balanced gameplay and finely-tuned mechanics are very solid. Expansions on the franchise from here can only serve to enhance and build upon what they've done with the first game. If they're smart, they'll be watching the community and their fans for input and advice on things to work on in the future - greater rewards and incentives for playing, a more immersive "campaign", and some greater variations on game types could make Titanfall an explosively popular series.

Yo, time traveler from 2022 here. Unfortunately, the Respawn founders left to for yet another studio (Gravity Well Games) and the Titanfall franchise has been left to languish under EA’s care in favor of Apex Legends, a quasi Titanfall spin off of the battle royal genre. It has been 6 years since the release of Titanfall 2 & after a string of DDoS attacks rendered both Titanfall games effectively unplayable for half a year (more for TF1), the now technically operational servers remain in a sorry state, with pilots being kicked from servers constantly & waiting upwards of 1/2 hr to get into a match. Rumors began to surface of a potential Titanfall 3, but Respawn has confirmed that there is currently nothing in the works & with the original Titanfall creators gone, there’s no guarantee that a sequel could hold a candle to its predecessors or survive the current trend of free-to-play live service & battle royals unmolested. The future looks grim pilots.
