It's impressive that the missions are still kinda hard even without the purple boys

Old Glory's Journal - Entry 5: While on a mission to infiltrate and kick Advent in the teeth, one of the Chosen decided it was time to finally show themselves, the Assassin, attacked while our best troops were in the field, leaving only our newer and greener soldiers to hold the line, luckily they were enough to put her in her place and keep Advent from gaining access to our data, and killing a bunch of our soldiers. Soon after she took another shot at us, this time at a supply convoy, and while she was able to take down one of our resistance soldiers, she still fell, as did the Advent troops she brought in to help her. With that done, and one of our teams fully infiltrated, they hit the Advent Blacksite we'd heard about, and oh boy, it wasn't pretty, we didn't lose any one, but we certainly could have, but we were able to find what they were hiding, and bring it back so our science guys can take a look at it.
