As someone catching up on the game and lore in 2021 - I really appreciate this series so far from 2013, this is fantastic! Allows me to play the game now and explore the lore later - quickly without going through the long cutscenes and dreading dialogue

Hey man only 4 videos in and you are right, you are no Morgan Freeman, but you still do an incredible job of summarizing the story. I am still gonna do the cut scene binge but your videos explain certain parts the cut scenes don't really get into. So I will finish by saying great work, many of us appreciate it.

Elidibus is from FFTactics. He has some minor backstory significance, but most people remember him as a secret boss. The significant part is he could summon, and your characters could learn the summon, Zodiark.

My guess is that elidibus doesnt want complete domination of Zodiark, he wants to ensure Zodiark and Hydaelyn are in balance, and in Eorzea Hydaelyn is clearly dominant, though weakening due to the calamity and primals and wars. Makes one wonder how a balance of both gods would look! Probably pretty crazy...or maybe not.

Something that I noticed that they never addressed in the game is how interspecies breeding worked because minfilia is hyme and her mother is clearly not

She isn't her real mother, she adopted her.

minfilia is a hyre from alamigho the miqute is an adopted mother

Yes Minfilla is also the girl in the 1.0 Ul'dah story, whose father got killed from the Goobbue at the beginning. Her name was Ascilia, but her new mother gave her a new name.
