Xena (Lucy Lawless) is finally reunited with Eve after a long 25 years away - only to learn she's under the spell of Ares, who vows to destroy Xena's daughter to protect his own safety.
From Season 5 Episode 20, "Livia": Xena and Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor) awaken from their 25 year sleep and reunite with Joxer. He introduces them to his son Virgil and the four of them venture into Rome to find Eve. Upon finding her, however, Xena is horrified to learn that Eve has become everything she didn't want her child to be - a fearless warrior for Rome embroiled in a relationship with Ares himself.
