Yeah, I really don't get why Nexpo went on about something as simple as someone else buying the domain for a redirect once the actual servers for the content that it originally hosted went down. Like, this is the most commonplace thing imaginable in the IT sphere for companies or individuals or groups to do.

The mention of Y2K wasn't all too accurate actually after i decided to do some research into it. The Y2K crisis actually COULD HAVE happened and happened at a small scale with some companies. Because earlier computer engineers expected companies and people to upgrade to computers with larger memory amounts in the future. Originally, computers didnt have enough memory to display 4 digits for the year and keep track of that, so they just settled on two digits. This led to the issue of 99 turning to 00, going back a century from when it was supposed to be. But legit billions upon billions of dollars were poured into upgrading infrastructure in order to avert this potential crisis, and it was averted so well that people remember it as total bullshit or complete fear mongering, or that people were being silly about not understanding computers. There's actually going to be another event similar to this in 2038, but people are already far more aware of it and has to do with 32 bit systems. So it'll be averted much sooner. And on Y2K, people did drum it up more than they should have because they didnt understand, and people were scammed, but in large part the actual issue was real as fuck.

There is no reason not to have that specific domain. Simple domains of simple / used /known nouns are very valuable. It would be weirder if the domain was not taken and or cheap

The mystery was that no one new who bought it or why, then they found out it was Disney but still didn’t know why. That was the mystery. The video was a dramatization of him figuring out the reason. Pretty simple. Seems like you all got your panties bunched up hoping it was something super crazy and got disappointed when it was simple.
