I had it on Wii U. Think I remember not being super interested in the story, but the exploration was very satisfying. Feels kind of like playing an offline MMO. The pilotable mechs take the game from being pretty good but not incredible to PEAK as the other person said. There's just something that's so goddamn satisfying about the giant robots ESPECIALLY once you get to fly for the first time.

@@katchy99 Bit of a stretch there... I'd go with XB1 > XB2 > XBX. X just had too little plot, and left far too many open questions for a game I sank 600 hours into. But right now I am more interested in an X sequel than XB3.

@@enjoydesu983 Not everything is opinions. That XBX has the best exploration is a fact, and it better be considering that XBX prioritized exploration above everything else. But saying that XBX has "far superior" "world, areas and atmosphere" is just non-sense. For one thing, all games have intrinsically different moods/atmospheres: XB1 is the most traditionally heroic/epic, XBX is the most adventurous and XB2 is the most melancholic/bitter sweet. All 3 games achieve heights the others don't in some category or another. But I think XBX is the most extreme: the highs are very high, but the lows are very low as well.

I prefer adventuring in XCX way more than I did XC1 or 2. Plus with all the open ends and loose threads this game's story felt more like a giant prologue to an epic. So it deserves a sequel. And hey The Devs said there interested in a XCX2. I just hope they don't ditch the current cast and focus on a completely different ship.

It was never about them not being able to put it on switch. It was more like "is it worth it to port it" And even tho i love xenoblade and love xenoblade x. I wouldnt have blamed it if they didnt port it. The game sold horribly. Granted xenoblade wasnt really known at the time it released and it released on the worst selling nintendo console in history. So glad it has this second chance and im sure it will at least out sell the original
