So far the beta has been pretty fun and feels much better than Xenoverse 1, at a glance it seems the same, but it's not, I think that they've made enough improvements to differentiate itself from the first, now that I've gotten my chance to play it.

a liitle protip for anyone who was also annoyed by the gates being hard to find during quests you can use the scanner thing that reveals material items and the gate you are supposed to go to will have a little ring and arrows around it that you can see trough obcjects so just turn the scanner on and spin around a bit if you cant find the gate

actually, this game makes looks the XV1 like a prototype, and this is the real final result of what they where trying to do in the first place... kind of reminds me of how they created the budokai tenkaichi series, the first one was a very shitty game, in the second one, things got even more better, and the third game is the top of the cream, maybe Xenoverse 3 is going to be the next best dragon ball z game besides of Budokai 3 and BT3

Yes it does. Keep in mind that there are THOUSANDS of people tying to log in at the same time and that the beta is a stress tes for the servers

Is the game a bit lighter on the RNG side of things? I'm currently trying to farm the great saiyaman outfit top for my character that will appear in this one as a legendary hero but I have to complete the special condition after which I have a CHANCE of triggering the ultimate finish after which I have a CHANCE of getting loot that MIGHT be the piece that I want.

only played closed beta, but from whay ive seen ya can't change color on outfits and no spiky hair in ssj. kills the experience for me, can't have my character looking like I want. no point in character creation. I can create a better db character in...well any other character creation game.

SSJB-Majin Vegeta you can only customize rainbow icon clothes. The rest are other character clothes. plus some outfits (like battle suits ) come in different colors. You just have to get them separately.
